Trump says, "as far as I'm concerned, she's [Pelosi] no longer speaker of the house."

Left goes into a tailspin about the semantics of whether or not he has the power to remove her from her position. They are completely unable to hear the message he delivered to the right. The right hears, "Pelosi is a puppet of the extreme left. She's not in control anymore." The right hears, "I'm working on gun control. I'm working on healthcare reform and drug price reform. The right hears: the left is working on nothing important."

Meanwhile the extreme left's working on chasing laser pointers and the moderate left is caught up helping them chase them.

The people the middle, they see what's going on and they can hear both sides. It's not a great look for the left. It's certainly not a winning one.
