So where Donald Trump had “Make America Great Again,” Mrs. Clinton had the identity project par excellence: “I’m with her.”

After all, who could be more deserving to succeed the first African-American president than the first woman president?

It didn’t turn out that way. And if you take the Trump blinders off for some perspective, there’s another dynamic that had little to do with Mrs. Clinton: the hemorrhaging of Democratic seats over the Obama years—from the governorships to state legislatures to Capitol Hill—to the point where the Democratic Party is now at its lowest levels in a century.

By the time Mrs. Clinton had secured the nomination for president, she had embraced everything a far more progressive party wanted her to embrace. But she also inherited a party that was losing elections all across the country.

Barack Obama said he wanted to be a transformative president in a way that Bill Clinton wasn’t, but I doubt this is what he had in mind.

I don't really care, as I don't stay up that late on NY Eve, but canning her and sending her to limbo, like what happened to Michael Richards, might help in a small way to dial back the hateful online rhetoric directed 24/7 at the President.

I think you're missing the point. It's not the gore and fake blood that are as upsetting as much as the insinuation that she, like Madonna (another liberal, mind you) is at least depicted as enjoying a fantasy of murdering our Chief Executive. Hard to imagine she didn't actually fantasize about killing him as they discussed, planned, prepared, and shot the picture. This was no impulsive selfie.

And this is why I'm getting tired of politics. People would rather be rude, crude, and insulting instead of actually discussing issues respectfully. Left, right, it doesn't matter anymore. Shortly after that Paul Shanklin recorded a song about Barack the Magic Negro set to that same tune, which Limbaugh played repeatedly throughout the 2008 presidential election season, always to lampoon Leftwing Racism.

“What if an incoming president and his immediate successors were wiped out on day one?”

CNN contributor Brian Todd took over to outline the line of succession if an attack blew up the inaugural dais, killing both Trump and Pence.The upshot was that in the case of both were killed, the Secretary of State would take over, and that would be John Kerry.

But later another CNN realized that since his office to became vacant at noon, that it would be the Speaker of the House — Republican Paul Ryan — another theorized that it would be Obama’s Under Secretary for Political Affairs Tom Shannon. Another suggested that the designated survivor appointed by the Obama administration would become president if enough died in the disaster. So, in CNN’s analysis, worst-case scenario would keep the Obama administration in power, at least indirectly.

Griffin represents this pathetic lunatic network quite well.

Kathy Griffin’s picture triumphantly holding up the “bloody” decapitated “head” of a Donald Trump dummy is receiving the attention of the Secret Service. After she posted the image, numerous people on social media not only criticized her but also tagged the Secret Service, the agency charged with protecting the president and handling assassination threats.

The agency’s Twitter feed acknowledged the reports Tuesday evening and said it is “on it!”

“On it! @SecretService has a robust protective intelligence division that monitors open source reporting & social media to evaluate threats,” the agency wrote.

“Threats made against @SecretService protectees receive the highest priority of all of our investigations. #ProtectionNeverRests,” the Secret Service continued.

This is the same method ISIS uses to terrorize and oppress. There is no defense for actions like this by anyone. She can hide behind the comedienne mask but in truth she is nothing more than a liberal terrorist.
To be fair, normalizing these kind of things are an incitement to violence and is extremely dangerous and very CRIMINAL. The Progressive Marxist Left should stop trying to defend the indefensible.
Even in effigy, the actions of Kathy Griffin is a terroristic threat, possibly a hate crime, one of the Left's favorite charges normally hurled at the right. At a minimum, charge her with those crimes and make her lawyer up and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars defending herself from the Federal Government.
