Well, as someone who's been analyzing body language for a long time now whenever I catch some kid lying, I have to say many of her observations are spot-on. Kathy nodding no while apologizing, at one point her eye roll - yeah, it's a bit fake-looking. The part I can't speak about since I can't remember the last time I listened to Kathy was her speaking speed - I have nothing to compare it to, so I don't know if she normally speaks that quickly. So I will guess that she's clearly panicking but on that part I will easily confess I could be wrong. It could also be that she just got off the phone with a Secret Service agent.

The other thing that she pointed out - during her apology, she said "I just saw the reaction," that says more than she cares to admit. It's not that she's apologizing because she knows she went over the line, she's really apologizing because people reacted negatively towards what she did. Yeah - not a good way to convince people how sincere you are.

 

1. This falls outside of "freedom of expression". It is closer to shouting "fire!" in a crowded theater.
2. I do not have any recollection of a vile effigy of a president being displayed by the mainstream media. Can you link those?
