The rules of the debate were to "prove" that God existed without using the Bible. They failed.

 

What??? THe christians obviously won this debate. the Crazy lady had no good points.

All they used were, "The Bible says so," arguments and complete strawman arguments of science. They were pathetic. Anyone who thinks that Ray "Banana Man" Comfort can win a debate is obviously not thinking.

This part is very good. When Kirk says he was an atheist. And he took science classes and he knew there was something missing. I am the same, I used to love science. took all the classes, aced all the classes, Loved science and science fiction. But one day, I said what Kirk Said here. And God showed up.

What's missing was his understanding of the classes he took.

The Crocoduck argument has to be the worst argument I have ever seen put forth to "disprove" Evolution. It shows ZERO understanding of Evolution.

 

Lord of the rings proves that there was a writer, a mind and a creator of that mind...LOTR's did not come to be by an explosion or by evolution. But by a mind and an idea. A CREATOR. and the movies didn't come to be by science or evolution, but by peter jackson.

 

How do you so often miss the point?

Have you seen Star Wars? Can you prove to me that Coruscant is not a real planet and that there aren't other planets like earth on this universe? remember I'm an amateur astronomer.

I never said I wanted to win. I've been debating Atheits for years and years..I'm 39 now and I'm not here to prove something anymore. But this debate and the recent attacks on Cameron infuriate me.

 

Cameron is an idiot who uses the same old tired logical fallacies. The Crocoduck argument is perhaps the worst argument against Evolution that I have ever seen. I can't believe that you think it's a good one. Explain to me why you think that it's a good argument against Evolution.

 

It is a creative and funny way to disprove evolution. It's out of the norm and entertaining. But it still proves a point. that Darwin was wrong. I never said it was scientifically proven.

 

How, especially since evolution doesn't state that ducks are decended from crocodiles, or the other way around, and doesn't state that a member of one species gives birth, or whatever, to offspring of another species.

 

If they have a reasonable argument, why don't you just write it down, and we can discuss whatever premises anyone think is faulty?

I can't watch the vids from where I am. If the argument is solid, you should be able to write it down. The only reason I see for posting vids is if the speaker's charisma is more compelling than the argument.

God is true because the Bible says so.

Evolution is false because you don't find any crocoducks.
