They guessed your answer to the question before they called with a high degree of accuracy. They can find any percent of americans to support or oppose anything they want and make it appear like it was random polls.

Do you understand the implications of higher borrowing costs for the extra $1.3T we are going to have to borrow to fund this minor boost to the economy the tax cut will provide? The rationale for the fiscal austerity Repubs insisted on during Obama's terms has somehow been forgotten because Don needs to squeeze another 2 or 3 tenths improvement out of the GDP so he can continue to brag about a higher rate of growth. We are relying on folks like yourself not to allow yourselves to be duped in to thinking there is no long term price to be paid for the extra $75 a month in your paycheck.

Could be, but doesn't have to. Anecdotes don't have to even be untrue to be invalid. Anecdotes are STORIES. They have their place but it's usually not in serious journalism unless you're using ti to introduce or illustrate a topic backed by statistics. More than a few good reporters are famous for them they're just not much good by themselves.
