    No, Obama could not. Many are the times he was captured in a fit of rage on camera and then afterwards he'd issue a totally stupid statement. Remember when he wanted to ban Fox News from his news conferences? Remember when he revealed his racism and then afterwards had to create the world's first ever Beer Summit? Have our leftists simply washed those enlightening events from their brains. Self brain washing. Cool!

    Trump also handles himself extremely poorly no matter what the subject matter is, personal or otherwise. And this is the problem

    I've really tried with her. I ask her respectfully pointed questions, and she goes off on the psychotic tangents that are hard to grasp. Why is it those infected with rabid leftism who unravel the most? Is it really as simple as terminal TDS??

    Obama could speak off the cuff. I have heard him. And so can Trump. He sounds like a blithering idiot when reads from the teleprompter, speaking in a monotone. The problem occurs when Trump speaks w/o a teleprompter. This is when he starts to spew forth irrational verbiage, in a smooth manner.

    The WaPo is on the forefront of the smear Trump lib prog "news" outlets.

    And Generals are the absolute best people to have in place advising the President. They know exactly what it means to go to war and they know exactly how to avoid escalating conflicts by using overwhelming odds to minimize casualties. Also they know how to define rules of engagement to prevent the unnecessary loss of life which took place in the Obama administration.

    Yes. It's especially virulent at first with those whom are relatively new to it. She used to claim to be a conservative on these boards and apparently was utterly unaware that the always sided with the leftists on pretty much every issue. I guess something snapped when Hillary failed to win in 2016 and thus a full bore hard core leftist was born whom unthinkingly embraces every aspect of her ideology, supping deeply of the P.C. Kool-aid.

    Meh, truth to tell we have at least three other posters on this board roughly where she was a year ago; ALWAYS posting leftward but claiming to be Right of Center; and eventually they too will get tired of pretending and then they, too, will be posting like Rachel Maddow off her medications.

    Excellent! Excellent! Excellent, Margo! My feelings exactly about Trump, but I feel that we should go easy on General Kelly.
    He and the other Generals who serve US (not him)in the Whitehouse, are the only people who have an understanding of war and have any chance of controlling this uncompromising, incompetent person who is our President.

    The really pathetic is that Kelly could have fixed this.. and Trump could have called widow Johnson back and used kinder words..

    Kelly's impeccable record doesn't mean he can demean women while speaking oily words about women being sacred or that he can be tone deaf to the wives of our fallen soldiers.
