Are there any statistics from before our current attempts at a War on Illegals? They used to be able to get a driver's license and insurance.

As I have said a zillion times....

Take away their ability to keep legitimate jobs with phony or stolen social security numbers. The SSA and IRS are all too well aware of multiple people using a single social security number. With modern computer databases, it wouldn't be hard to pluck out all the duplicate, non issued or under age users excepting the original issuee. Then send notices to their employers the duplicate users payments are coming from that there appears to be an error and they must verify the social security number within 30 days or face massive fines and jail time.

Without jobs they will simply go home on their own.

You would think after 30,000 posts, people like you would finally "get it".

Third World Mexicans should be deported back to their own country. They left their country in shambles, there is no reason to believe these primitive Mestizos will do anything different to the American southwest. They are savages who rape, steal, kill, and smuggle drugs from childhood. They have no purpose in an advanced society other than to leech off productive white Americans. You know, those who foot the bill for their lifestyles here...

Now, what say you, Mr. right wing "conservative"???

Let me guess, are you gonna call me a "raycissss"? :bounce:

Employment at will, could be considered a natural right secured by State at-will employment laws and a federal doctrine regarding employment at will.

I would just call you wrong, in our modern and global economy; I may agree with you if we didn't have one of the largest economies in the world.

Oh they understand Professor, they just choose to disregard it. Following the laws, and the lenalties for not doing so are only for citizens.

God forbid we hold non citizen "brown people" to the same standards we hold our citizens to. Easier to simply paint anyone who disagrees as a racist by pointing out the illegals are "brown"...

It isn't against any law to practice employment at will in any at-will employment State or comply with a federal doctrine regarding employment at will.

I have no clue as to what your talking about. I'll post it again just for you.

In order for an illegal to hold a regular job they had to have broken one or more of the Laws above which are all felonies. So I have no clue what "at will work" has to do with it. It's supplying false documents to obtain work then swearing under penalty of perjury that the false documents are correct on IRS forms and returns. eVerify is a low/no cost way to insure folks don't fraudulently obtain employment and government benefits using false documents. Without the ability to cheat their way into a job and government benefits they will go home on their own where it is much cheaper to live. If you need further explanation just ask, I'll be happy to help.

I am referring to employment that conforms to State at-will employment statutes and the federal doctrine of employment at will.

From my perspective, not even California should have an illegal problem within its State markets, simply due to retaining those powers absolutely necessary for its inspection laws for its own markets.

So are they filing income tax returns for the income from their "at will employment"?

If you earn money in the United States you must file a return and pay taxes. So explain "at will employment" to me again and how they don't need to file tax returns?

Good. then we can put some people to work making and installing duplicates of every road sign in the state, in Spanish. But then, they'd probably hire the newly licensed illegals to do that too. However, I fail understand how. by simply carrying a drivers license if you wallet or purse one is magically transformed into a safer driver..

Some persons are issued tax payer ID's which makes it easier to pay taxes.

Usually, it may be due to a better understanding of the rules of the road.

Certainly you either jest...or your head is inserted firmly in the ground...You can pass a California drivers written test my merely showing up. There are people that just hang around the DMV's offering to guarantee a pass for a few bucks. There are no monitors in the testing area.

What you claim has not been the usual case from any anecdotal observations in my experience.
