Another phony scandal...our media is a ratings mad disgrace...

    http://www.omaha.com/opinion/paul-w...cle_03c43283-e1ca-5b99-b763-b67a4887f82d.html

"There’s a new round of “revelations” concerning Hillary Clinton’s time at the State Department, and since it involves some people sending emails to other people, it gets wrapped up with that other story about Clinton.

Are you ready for the shocking news, the scandalous details, the mind-blowing malfeasance? Well, hold on to your hat, because here it is: When Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, many people wanted to speak with her.

    Astonishing, I know.

Let’s briefly summarize what’s so earth-shaking that it gets front-page treatment on both the New York Times and the Washington Post, not to mention untold hours of breathless cable news discussion. There are actually two stories in one.

The first is that a federal judge has ordered the State Department to speed up its review of approximately 15,000 previously undisclosed emails that the FBI retrieved off of Clinton’s server.

We have no idea what’s in them. It could be something horrifying, or it could be utterly banal. My money’s on the latter.

The second story is that Judicial Watch, an organization that has been pursuing Clinton for years, has released a trove of emails it obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests, emails that supposedly show how donors to the Clinton Foundation got special access, and presumably special favors, from Clinton while she was at State.

The only problem is that the emails in question reveal nothing of the sort. What they actually reveal is that a few foundation donors wanted access but didn’t get it.

Let’s look at that story. It mentions three specific requests sent to Clinton aide Huma Abedin by Doug Band, an executive at the Clinton Foundation, on behalf of people who had contributed to the foundation:

» A sports executive who had donated to the foundation wanted to arrange for a visa for a British soccer player to visit the United States; he was having trouble getting one because of a criminal conviction. Abedin said she’d look into it, but there’s no evidence she did anything and the player didn’t get his visa.

» Bono, who had donated to the foundation, wanted to have some kind of arrangement whereby upcoming U2 concerts would be broadcast to the International Space Station. Abedin was puzzled by this request, and nothing was ever done about it.

» The Crown Prince of Bahrain, who had donated to the foundation, wanted to meet with Clinton on a visit to Washington. Abedin responded to Band that the Bahrainis had already made that request through normal diplomatic channels. The two did end up meeting.

And that’s it. So: Nobody got special favors and nobody got “access,” except for the second-highest-ranking official of an important U.S. ally in the Middle East (Bahrain is, among other things, the site of an American naval base that is home to the 5th Fleet and the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command).

While Bahrain has donated money to the Clinton Foundation to fund a scholarship program, it’s safe to say that the Crown Prince meeting with the U.S. secretary of state is not an unusual occurrence.

There are none so blind as those who will not see. It is not that they met it is what they got after ward that is the problem. Laureate got a big contract with the state department and in terms of education they make Trump U look Ivy league.

    How soon the OP forgot....

    http://dailycaller.com/2016/06/27/e...jiv-fernando-asked-to-be-on-state-dept-panel/

A wealthy donor to Hillary Clinton’s campaigns and to the Clinton Foundation directly asked Clinton’s State Department staff to be considered for an appointment to a board overseeing arms control issues within the agency, newly released emails show.

“If there is any way I can be a part of the list of the final 25 I would be grateful. Please let me know if there is anything you need me to do,” reads a Sept. 11, 2009 email from the donor, Rajiv Fernando, to Clinton’s deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin.

Fernando, who has donated between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation and tens of thousands to Clinton’s various campaigns, was eventually appointed to the International Security Advisory Board (ISAB) in 2011.

If there is one thing that can be said about Clinton Zombies, it is consistency. Hillary could drop trousers on stage, and take a dump on an American flag. You Zombies would salute it, and claim any outrage from the non-Zombies is a false conspiracy.

Since the State Department is refusing to turn over Hillary's official calendars until after the elections, we will not know who did or did not meet with her while she served as Sec of State. But I do agree with the articles writer that the 15,000 that are still to be released by the State Department is probably nothing. It is the 30,000 that she claimed was personal, and was deleted that is the real problem.

Take a look at the email below. This is one of those 15,000 emails that is being released by the State Department:

Notice the subject line? Doesn't quite match the conversation between Hillary and Huma Abedin, Why do you think that is?

Hillary was not the one that actually chose which emails were personal, and which were work related. She had an attorney's office do it for her. They were supposed to use code words to determine which emails were personal. If they had searched for the code word, "lamps", they would have deleted this email chain. How many work related emails were deleted because they included a few personal lines, and then claimed that they were personal?

So far, the only excuse that Hillary has given for the way she handled emails as Sec of State is that she was lazy and stupid. Is that really the traits that you are looking for in a President?

Do we gave an honest neutral source to substantiate this allegation?

Anyone with common sense knows the Clintons are as crooked as a snake. Then there are the ignorant believers that the Clintons are just like Joe Average. Sad.

It was all over the news a month ago but the left was too busy burying Trump to notice. What you consider "honest neutral" likely doesn't exist. Google it yourself.

I'm actually glad that November 8th won't move. Either we'll see something that can't be shrugged off by the Clintons in the next few weeks, or we have to put up with Madam President for the next 4 years. My money's on Assange / the NSA producing the October surprise.

Hillary is like Al Capone. Everyone knew he was guilty as hell for a variety of heinous crimes and like Capone, she'll eventually get busted for something unrelated to her current criminal activities.

Wasn't there something about their Foundation not reporting like 1100 foreign donors? Also, weren't they missing tax records?

Do you think the leftness can figure out what conflict of interest means? How it works and all?

I know Fox News is not a neutral source in your opinion, but you will notice that they are quoting ABC News. Surely, you don't consider ABC a part of some right-wing conspiracy.

We can only wonder WHO is on that donor's list. Were any "Deals" facilitated by the State Dept like the lucrative uranium-mining deal that netted the Clinton Foundation a cool $2.35 million?

Looks like ABC's the Hill has some claims. Imagine that.

Seven ways the Clinton Foundation failed to meet its transparency promises.....

The failures were sometimes complicated – in one example a foreign country’s laws hampered the foundation’s ability to reveal names of donors. Nonetheless, these controversies are now returning to haunt Clinton as November’s election draws near.

    1. The Clinton Health Access Initiative didn’t disclose its donors annually.

As Reuters revealed last year, officials at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) — an HIV/AIDs-focused non-profit that falls under the Clinton Foundation's umbrella — admitted they failed to uphold these commitments during Clinton's entire tenure, from 2009 to 2013.

“Not doing so was an oversight which we made up for this year,” said CHAI spokeswoman Maura Daley in a statement to Reuters.

Asked by The Hill to explain these transparency failures in more detail, the Clinton Foundation did not respond.

    2. The Clinton Health Access Initiative didn’t submit foreign government donations to State Department ethics officials for review.

    3. The Clinton Foundation didn’t disclose a new $500,000 donation in 2010 from the Algerian government

    4. The Clinton Foundation didn’t disclose $2.35 million of donations from a family foundation linked to a company with business before Clinton's State Department.

    5. The Clinton Foundation was late in disclosing millions of dollars in speaking fees.

    6. The Clinton Foundation hasn’t revealed all of the sources of money transferred from a Canadian charity.

    7. Exact donation amounts and dates are unknown.

For example, the most elite donor section on the Clinton Foundation website shows entities that have given more than $25 million. But there is no upper ceiling on these contributions. The public doesn’t know from the disclosure whether the amount given was $25 million or $100 million, for example.

The second highest level leaves a gap of $15 million between the smallest and largest donations. By leaving such a broad range, the Clinton Foundation is failing to show the public whether the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been more or less financially important to the foundation than the Kingdom of Norway.....snip~
