That's most interesting, because fatherless black kids are much less likely to be gay than white kids with two parents. I think you'll find it's generally cultural, but also related to poor bonding with PRESENT fathers. That does not mean a poor relationship with the father, incidentally.

I think "trauma" period, influences children to make abnormal choices. Mothers have a role in that as well. A mother could sissyfy a young male or she may dominate him to wits end. A father could withhold love from a daughter. Sexual abuse on either sex could be an influence. I really don't know about the race thing as you insert. Could be true, but I agree culture is also a factor. My daughter has said that in high school, some girls thought it was "chic" to kiss other girls openly, probably an act they see in Hollywood on a regular basis. I'd have to do research, but did Dennis Rodman have a father present in his up bringing?

That’s not at all what the article says, sex between children and adults is pretty much universally not accepted in America, most pedophiles (as per your article) that do not act on their desires acknowledge and agree with this.

 

I do not have any problem believing the 28% number. Some religions and cultures are adamantly against homosexuality. Many older people also find it extremely repugnant and disgusting. Me, I think a persons sexual orientation is their own business and no one else's. Heck, if I was a woman, I would be a lesbian.
