    We were listening on a government provided desktop Dell PC so we had government issue sound quality. I am still trying to look through Mac Help to see what the hell is wrong with my sound settings.

    Permissiveness? We have thousands of firearm regulations on the books. That's not permissive. And this was one person, not many. 99% of people aren't like that. Would you shut up so as not to tell a lie?

    I don't think his brother knew what he was up to for the last few years. I'm not sure anyone did.

    We don't know the full story...yet. But over the next few days I think we'll learn a lot.

    He did not hardly have to aim do to the concentration of people before they realized that he they were being shot at. Firing two weapons at a time could very well be what that terrorist did.

    This restricted me as I saw this, to the buyers with the licenses. But my last buyer told me to ship it to a gun store in New Jersey and gave me details. I ended up talking to the gun dealer who accepted my shipment. He later called me on the phone all angry since i had also included plenty of ammo for the new buyer and he wanted to ream me. The buyer told me he will never again use that dealer.

    It is apparent that there are those who truly believe that America, as a society, is powerless to take reasonable steps to reduce the firearm mayhem it inflicts upon itself.

    Too many politicians are paid off by the NRA to take those reasonable steps that most rational Americans support.

    The permissive attitude toward firearms that facilitates the mayhem is not about to be vanquished by reason.

    Under the circumstances, innocent children, women, and men will continue to be shot to death in unconscionable numbers in America in the name of freedom.

    Resignation may be the only recourse.

    Gun laws only work in Canada, Australia, UK, Italy, France, Germany and about 50 other countries in this world.

    We are way to retarded to apply some regulations to reduce mass shootings.

    My comparison indicates that much human mangling and slaughter is tolerated for just a teeny bit more convenience than the driver who obeys the law. They aren't willing to give up whatever convenience they they think speeding offers. But they are perfectly willing to take others' rights when talking of another type of human slaughter that is a result of something they don't "need" in their modern cities. Not everyone lives in your cities; some actually need guns in a more life-impacting way than city folks need to speed.

    By "cracking" you mean volleyball (or larger) sized craters. The power found in 50BMG is beyond what those not familiar with it can image.

    That to me sounds about right for the speed in rounds per minute this killer used. I did not believe it is a factory machine gun.

    Yeah, for sure. Just read an article from a marine talkin about soundwaves and the massive Mandalay Bay though, so I don't think he did, but he sure as heck could.

    It has been verified (TV) just now that it was in fact a modified AR15, not an M60

    It is my understanding that you must not ship ammo along with the gun... lol

    I'm not sure if you can ship ammo directly to an out of state buyer, though. Good subject for research.

    It'll be interesting to see just how long he was planning it, too. The computers from his house will yield a lot. Plus they have cameras in every orifice in Mandalay Bay so they will be able to trace every step he took for the last 3 days.
