Aside from the glaring constitutional differences between building a wall and nullifying a constitutionally protected civil right... how do you propose a declared emergency would have an enforcible effect on civilian firearm ownership? Laws have to be enforced. Ballot measure I-1639 in WA, passed a few months ago, instituted new mandates on firearm storage and age of purchase for firearms, and already half of the county Sheriffs in WA have publicly stated a refusal to enforce the new laws. Building a wall requires no coercive violence to accomplish, and tramples no civil rights. Banning guns does both. The '=\=' in this idea is mountainous.

because the laws and controls we already have weren't followed or failed yet gun grabber want to pass more laws and controls
