Did you think they would know everything in the first couple of hours? Do you have any conception of how huge the Abqaiq refinery is or what it does?

Are you talking about gas or oil?

What is the relevance in what you are saying to anything I said?

Anyway, since you have touched on something that you might actually know a bit more than I would, please explain how huge the Abqaiq refinery (and the other installation that was hit) are and what they do? I like to hear it.

Oh stop.. The Russian newspapers mock Trump three or four times a week. They think he's an ejit.

I seriously doubt Russia had anything to do with this attack on Abqaiq. The Saudis built Russia's largest oil refinery some years back. The boob in this mess is Trump.

The boob in this mess gave Iran the drone technology to pull it off.
    Hint: that was not Trump.

Kind of reminds me of Syria and how we're supposed to be fighting terrorists, and yet we're always bombing the Syrian army when they're winning over the excuse of a false flag chemical attack. They say it's to even out the playing field, so that the war can keep going on. Talk about criminality.

and soon it'll come, it won't be long

and 'dark' will reign instead of 'light'. - Jeannette

What are you even talking about? Who ever said the Russians had anything to do with this?

When it comes to military tech it's lose it when you use it.

There may be a lesson there.

Iran had the technology from very early, producing drones for several decades now, as a means to offset its disadvantage in not being supplied manned military aircraft. But once it had mastered the technology enough, and was able to even commandeer a US drone to land safely and intact in Iran, it did learn enough from that as well. Especially in making stealth drones and also some other things.

I would heed the message and strike back hard enough that they would stop sending them.

I know you would think so -- something that Trump used to to think as well. Until wiser heads explained to him why it wouldn't be such a good idea.
Seriously, when Trump was elected, he was reportedly constantly pestering the Pentagon about why the US just wouldn't take out those little pesky speedboats from Iran? I am not sure he had the patience to every understand why not, but I do know that even anti-Iran hawks like Mattis began ignoring his repeated requests for options to deal with Iran (short of the kind of war, neither Trump nor the US wants to wage).

I wouldn't bully them, I would blow up something that they care about and need, maybe their largest oil facility?

I never understood that either, why don't you tell me why we didn't do that?

If you hear Lindsey Graham say these things, remember that is what he gets paid to do: blow nonsense for the pro Israel and the military industrial lobby. I don't think you should do their bidding for free.

Simple: American forces, bases, naval assets, everything the US has or holds dear in the ME, is within Iran's firing range. For the US to shoot at Iran, it will need to be ready to suffer a lot of casualties and find much of its navy under the water.

Iran should bear in mind that casualties are never one sided and the US weaponry is awesome. Twisting the lion's tail can be a dangerous game for everyone.

Iran's position is that neither Iran nor the US want war -- and that both should be mindful to act accordingly.

    You got it all wrong.
Trump does not want to spend a dime on anybody who is not american.
He will not attack Iran for nothing.
But if the Saudies are paying, you'd better take cover. And the Iranians are pushing the Saudies to pay Trump to protect them.
