That is not within my purview. Whether years of similar partisan inquiries into any or all of the comparable tragedies when Powell or Rice were at the helm of State would have resulted in similar findings to ...
    ...
    ... one can only speculate.

The reality is that, after a partisan ordeal of unprecedented duration, under Issa and others, McCarthy has now candidly stated the Republican metric: Hilary Clinton's poll numbers, and Gowdy must try to perpetuate the tired act in the light of such an admission.

    That won't be easy.

I can tell you. There were no comparable tragedies when Powell or Rice were at the helm. But if you want to make a comparison to previous administrations, then perhaps you should look at the number of people killed in embassy attacks during the Clinton Administration.

I think that Gowdy has sufficiently admonished McCarthy, who has apologized for the remarks, and explained sufficiently the his disagreement with any such assertion on multiple programs. The people who are now the ones making political hay out of this tragedy are the democrats.

The democrats have only themselves to blame for the duration of the investigation into Benghazi. You can't stall and stonewall an investigation for 3 years and then turn around and complain that the investigation is taking too long. You can't blame partisan politics on the revelations that Sec. of State Clinton had been criminally negligent with classified information. That is a side issue, a bi-product of the investigation that has been revealed as a result of her stonewalling the committee. Continuously citing one finding of a committee that was limited in scope that was only given partial information and no access to relevant witnesses is just a bogus diversion given the new revelations coming from a more thorough and complete investigation. Aside from the recently uncovered felonious activities of Sec. Clinton, there are still many unanswered questions, serious questions, that need to be answered.

Well, when the Christians start chopping people's heads off over it, then maybe it can be addressed. Otherwise, who gives a (*)(*)(*)(*).

And NO, he didn't "let the truth slip out." He stated a cause and effect. But run around screaming and pulling your hair out like the Republicans, so you can look as silly as they do.

what a joke, i'm laughing at your ridiculous comments

christians are often for capital punishment, democrats seem to be the only thing restraining them

i recently saw a republican arguing for more public punishment of criminals, i pointed out the muslim similarity

and she didn't seem to care, she wanted it anyway

I'm for capital punishment as well. See, the difference is this. Someone gets arrested for murder, gets a trial, gets convicted, gets sentenced, files an appeal, then another appeal, then another appeal, then another appeal, then another etc. So maybe 20+ years later, they are given a humane death by a method that as far as we can tell causes no suffering.

Now, on the other hand, the Muslim way is to see someone who lets just say drew a cartoon of the great Allah, and off with his (*)(*)(*)(*)ing head immediantly.

Oh yea, I can see how you think it's exactly the same. :roflol:

More were killed under Clinton than under Bush. In both cases, there were no comparable incidents. Neither under Bush or Clinton, were there accusations of negligent security prior (inadequate security yes, not negligent), inadequate responses during, nor lying or stonewalling the investigations that followed. None were cases of coordinated attacks that lasted hours in which the administrations failed to send any help. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

you don't seem to be able to see anything at all

    you're making a trivial-objections logical fallacy argument
