McConnell caves-in on debt ceiling, giving Dems what they want.

    Manchin wants the corporate tax rate to go to 25% from 21% and he's likely at the low end for D's... If that's all it took to get his "cooperation", it would have been done months ago...

    But apparently, as soon as you give Manchin "what he wants", he's already moved somewhere else....

    It is not $3.5 trillion and the debt ceiling was raised by the GOP during Trump. Now, some things are more important like paying bills and keeping the lights on.

    I guess I should 'like' Manchin... but frankly, I don't trust him -- yet! He's a Democrat, after all, and so far the only conspicuous difference between him and any other Democrat is that Manchin has found himself in the fortunate position of being able to 'name-his-price'.

    Prediction: Manchin will name that price, get it easily, and the gigantic Libocrat 'Spend-a-thon' will become reality in 2022. Wait and see.... :oldman:

    And I don't see how anyone making 200K needs an earned income credit.
