False. Because Mexico knows that while they house them TEMPORARILY, once they release them into the US, the cost of housing them temporarily is FAR less than what they will pay to these parasitic criminal scumbags if they let them stay in their own country.

Furthermore as I've stated multiple time, this piece of basura Mexican president is nothing more than a crony and a front man for the cartels. So when he allows these millions of people through his country, who do you think is bringing them? The cartels. Not only are they bringing them but they're extorting them, stealing from them and making TONS of money off of them. So the more migrants which come, the more money the cartels that this piece of **** president represents are going to make.

He's not losing a damn thing by having those migrants in his country. He is in fact making a fortune for the cartels and doing EXACTLY what they want him to do.

If a patriotic hacker would hack into his personal email I can almost 100% guarantee that they would find proof of his utter loyalty to the cartels. They might even find where the cartels ordered him to make these extortion demands.

It would be more accurate (tho still not entirely accurate) to say the progressives are blackmailing our country with unlimited immigration, than is President Obrador.

Well I don't disagree at all that the democrats are screwing us. However, without the millions of illegals this ass wipe president is allowing through his country and helping them reach the border in order to secure hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and the legalization of tens of millions of his people in America, the democrats wouldn't have anything to screw us with (at least in this context).

What’s really hilarious about all of this is the outrage / double standard / hypocrisy from some people.
He states what he thinks needs to change, and if those things don’t change, people will continue to want to sneak into America. But also says, very clearly, that his country will try to secure the border.
People ignore that clear statement and focus on the first question he was asked.

But those same people can look at a speech from a few years ago when some guy kept talking about fighting and losing the country, and ignore all of that, excuse it because after hours of working a crowd into a frenzy, he said the word “peacefully” once, as if that changed everything.

I already posted this once but imma post it again just for you to make sure you see it.

"Again that doesn't make sense. He wants ALL of them met or else they keep coming.

One of those included making tens of millions of illegals who are already here legal. How does that not incentivize them to keep coming?

See y'all are asserting that he wasn't threatening us, he was saying "oh well if yall will just address these problems with these solutions then the migrants will stop coming on their own."

But making illegals into legals does not alleviate ANY problem in South America. It actually INCENTIVIZES them to keep coming. Therefore to assert this was just him extending some helpful advice to us is patently absurd."

This was extortion. Plain and simple extortion. It's cartel/mafia tactics. "Man it would be a shame if something happened to your business (border). But hey if you give us billions of dollars and tons of free **** for our people then we can help you make sure something doesn't happen to your business (border)."

And btw you defend him when he says he "will CONTINUE to help secure the border". What the **** is he doing to help secure it now? Because whatever he's doing, it ain't working and it ain't helpful.

Its easier to let them through than to try and stop them. If all the immigrants coming here were just passing through to get to Canada, I doubt we'd be having this conversation (but Canadians certainly would!).

Its our responsibility, not Mexico's, to regulate our immigration.

I agree with you that he is wrong about legalising illegals. That will incentivise them, not discourage them.

He wasn’t blackmailing. Just saying what he think needs to happen. But even if it doesn’t, he will still try to secure the border.

It is every bit an invasion, more insidious than an actual military one.

It's time to get this moron out of the White House and close the damn border.

At some point you have to say America is for Americans and Trump was right because you're going to have to fight like hell or you're not going to have a country anymore.

And I don't mean physically fight so no one should construe that as advocating for violence.

And if we don't, one day our grandkids can tell their sons what the distant memory of the country that used to be known as the United States was all about.

And maybe their kids will burn the history books and call the statues racist and blot out even the memory of what was once this great nation

Look at history and see the cyclic nature of the downfall of every empire and realize that these United States are at the cusp of the sunset.

We fought a war with Mexico once and we won.

Although I'm not certain if we can win this more insidious battle from within. Especially when we have traitors at the wheel who sit there and hold the gate open

Well first off, simply stating something is false doesn’t make it so. The fact of the matter is we have years of data on the number of asylum applicants, and the number of asylum seekers who have been accepted for refugee status in the North American countries. In neither examples are the US numbers higher than Mexico’s. You can say it’s false, but the numbers available to us still remain the same

Second, there seems to be a rational inconsistency as to whether or not the Mexican president is financially benefiting from the presence of migrants, or whether it is their removal which he benefits from

Furthermore, we seem to be basing the notation of the Mexican president being linked to the cartels on third hand connections. By that standard, essentially every major political in North America would be linked to organized crime. Heck, Donald Trump has second hand ties to the Italian and Russian mafia. The reason for this is because organized crime is a broad market that in part functions on laundering their revenue, meaning they have broad connections to legally run businesses and organizations. If there is no evidence one having any first hand connections to organized criminal organizations, then it makes no logical sense to conclude they have a shared financial interest with said criminal organizations

Well I would argue that he benefits both from having them there and having them leave. He benefits from having them there because he's doing his cartel bosses dirty work and making them money. He benefits by having them cross into the us because he gets rid of his parasites and gives them to us and he no longer has to pay for them.

insofar as his connections to the cartels, he has been linked to the cartels through many of his personal relationships and it's been reported on in his country ad nauseum.

But the most damning connections come from his own words out of his own mouth. He refers to his cartel policy as "hugs not bullets". He has doxed journalists who report bad things about the cartels by listing their phone numbers and addresses in public. He has openly stated that the cartels are not to be demonized and they are treated unfairly. He even went so far as to invite a journalist to interview him so that he could dox her and then in the interview when she questioned him about the cartels he again stated they are unfairly demonized and that the cartels actually provide a "valuable service" to their countrymen because they provide jobs and economic stability to regions where his government doesn't reach.

He is a cartel crony front man

Agreed but he is making a threat against the United States by saying he will keep sending invaders. That is an act of war.

But he's not sending them- he's just not stopping them. And like the squatters lying and saying they have a lease and right to be in someone else's house- the illegals say they were invited by Biden- and it's true. But they are still illegal, still invading.

It takes a very strong and dedicated person to run a nation well, just like it does to run a big company. Some of those who can do that make it appear easy, like Warren Buffet does- but regardless of appearances, such people know how to be hard and ruthless, and when to do it. I've personally heard him admit that.

Biden may be ruthless, but has no moral directive to know when or how to apply it. Weak man. Greed and fear drive him, not strength, courage and duty. Dangerous person to give power.

I agree and it is somewhat tongue in cheek to declare war. It is not a surprise that when Trump was there, Mexico made no such threats because they knew Trump wouldn't like that. There are many things a president can do. One of which is to station the military at the border since we are not at war with anyone right now. The other is to stop the asylum insanity as I can't think of any reason anyone from Mexico qualifies.

You and I know this is intentional to replenish the schools, courts, and a myriad of government jobs. Schumer and Pelosi have admitted this.

I've worked long and hard to find a way to get the nation to restore Congress to a working institution and invested a lot of money trying to make it happen. The real control of that is the people- what they will tolerate. The task is convincing them to stop tolerating less than what the Constitution requires of the members of Congress.

The people do have the power- but only when they are united in support of primary values. There will always be division on how to make America work better- but divided, its become a question of if, rather than how.
IF the substantial majority of the people demand Congress follow the rules or else- Congress WILL follow the rules, and those who don't won't be there. That can't be done with a divided populace, it takes a strong majority, with strong leadership that doesn't compromise on that. It's not partisan at all, there should be no question- but that support is not there. Right now, the question of something being good or bad for America is less relevant than who is backing it. Total partisan logic, and you see that even here on this forum with total commitment by some.

This will come down to two choices. You either work to bring unity and make the nation healthy again, or you buy more ammunition to be able to protect yourself from the conditions chaos and corruption in government will create. That's a pretty sad situation. I believe it's true.

Generally that is how one would document crime with respect to who committed it. But not all studies rely upon that. For example, one could do a regression model that includes (or indirectly accounts for, in this case) known variables that contribute to violence, control for those, and then see how violence varies with proportion of undocumented persons: DOES UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRATION INCREASE VIOLENT CRIME? - PMC (nih.gov)

    upload_2024-3-27_10-36-21.png

So this would account for crimes that are reported, even without arrests. Nothing could really account for unreported crimes.

The study in this post above addresses your first and second points. Nothing could really account for the 3rd one, but if it's happening to them that's of less concern to people who are worried they're coming here and bringing crime to us.

We agree once again but I am afraid what you yearn for will not happen any time soon. What has happened is that government has been taken over the left and the rich and powerful on the left and a few decades ago, DEI hires started in earnest in all branches of government and to stay in power they have to import the impoverished, uneducated while at the same time indoctrinating our youth in grade school and college..

Take a look at the below photo of 'international workers,' and take a stab at the man/woman ratio.

Thousands of migrants set to arrive in massive, El Paso-bound caravan in just a few days

A new, 2,000-person migrant caravan is making its way north to the US border — and is expected to reach El Paso, Texas, in just the next few days.

Videos posted online show a swarm of people walking through the streets of southern Mexico on Monday.

In one clip, an apparent leader could be seen encouraging the group through a bullhorn to chant “A la frontera” — meaning “To the border.”

The group proclaimed in Spanish, “We are not criminals, we are international workers.”

Time to ignore the Mexican president. The flow of illegals will continue until we get a sensible federal administration. It has nothing to do with Obrador.

There are about 5000 illegals per day right now. This group doesn't even equal a day's worth. Yes, Martha, the problem is that bad.

That, too, would require a new, sensible administration.
