The auto plants are not owned by Mexico like Pemex.

Chevy and ford both have plants and claim made in America, this new deal says 70% of the parts must be made in America to be classified as made in America. Big win for American auto employees

There isn't a negotiation going on here-both the US and Mexico have wanted this deal for over a year.

Its not like Pelosi is holding out for modifications to the trade agreement-she's sitting on it to deny Trump another economic achievement, and to force house dems to support impeachment.

If congress won’t pass it they better keep negotiating. Or guess what?
    It won’t pass

And this is another prime example of the Democrat party abandoning working Americans.

It's been a long time since they were their champions, they are now the party of illegals, public employee unions and Hollywood fat cats.

Their argument backed by the AFL/CIO is that the protections listed in the agreement have no enforcement language.

This means still going to be cheaper in Mexico.

    Have you read USMCA?

Wrong. There is one sticking point. Surprised the Trump administration doesn’t give it to Pelosi.

Ya that's the same argument we put to the Democrats about China! And we get a plethora of nonsense rebuttals about how lucky we are to have them bending the U.S. over! I would suggest you review some of the leftist older post and simply go with those answers you seek here now :)

She has sat on it for over a year.

She's not trying to improve anything.

I feel bad for the house democrats who actually want to help their constituents but are being forced to support the impeachment sham instead.

Top Dems never make anything better-they just try to tear things down.

We can do that after we have debated it in the election and allowed the voters to voice their views.

It didn't take that long to negotiate the deal, it took that long to get it to pass because of the opposition to the job killing prospects of it.

The above is the question you asked. WTF difference does it make if the companies are Mexican State owned like Mexican Petroleum, Pemex? Mexico's economy benefits greatly by US, European and Asian auto manufactures producing vehicles in their country. It means thousands of good jobs they wouldn't otherwise have.
