Well, this is stating the rather obvious. This is basically definitive, but listening on satellite just now, the Kremlin schnegs still deny and claim it was DPR "rebels" who shot it down. I think it's kinda hard for some semi literate coalminers, drug dealers, muggers, to have in depth knowledge of a system like this. You can't build something like this in some garage,).

It was owned by a russian brigade, 53 air defense.

 

Yeah, it was the regular Russian Army who shot that airliner down. There's no doubt about it. There is also no day of judgement coming for the criminals who ordered it and did it, unfortunately.

they bragged about bringing down the plane before they realized it was really a passenger jet and not a Ukrainian air force cargo plane

And every time when they are asked to show their proofs they answer - we have them, but we won't show them to you.

The continuously find new evidence, witnesses come forward, people recall details, investigators follow leads. They can't make their evidence public because this would enable the criminal perpetrators to erase their tracks.

These aren't simple missiles, they're part of a system which includes a transport vehicle for the mobile launcher that carries 6 rockets, there's a targeting vehicle, using this requires training, they're operated by officers.

I saw some of those pictures just after, different shots of one of these launchers with a missile missing, they were photographed in the vicinity.

I doubt any of the people suspected to have had an active role will ever face prosecution.

At the very least the victims families should be able to sue the Russian government.

 

At the end of the day, it was the Ukrainian government who was responsible for allowing the plane to fly over Donetsk.

If it was an accident it was a terrible accident indeed. If it was deliberate I have to ask what possible motive Russia could have. They seem to have an anti-motive.

May have thought it was a Ukrainian nationalist plane. What possible motive could Russia have to shoot down a passenger plane? All it does is make them look terrible, it doesn't advance any war goals or any other goals.

Reasonable, I think the blame is split between ukr and Russia.

The ukr secret services has confiscated air traffic data from the air control post, immediately after the downing, never was released.
We can remember fighters being downed, I think 2-3, before the airliner did. There is a possibility of a murderous but brilliant play by the Ukrainians, however it is evident at this point the rebels shot it down.

 

Ahahaha .... militiamen shot down Boeing by Russian "Buk", and so Ukraine hid the data of its radars, destroyed the negotiations of Ukrainian dispatchers and concealed the dislocation of Ukrainian "Buks"

By the way, 35 years ago a passenger plane was shot down over Italy. They mixed up, thought that they were shooting down the plane with Gaddafi. All passengers died - 81 people (13 children). And then, for 33 years, NATO lied, destroyed the material evidence, and lied under oath. 33 years later they admitted that they shot down a plane by mistake.
