I participated in this thread when it started and remember quite well some of the things that were said that were deleted. If you want to defend the actions of the now banned Progressives that is on you.

All I can tell her is take a look at Colin Powell and how the rightwing turned on him when he got out of line and didn't do as he was told.

I think you might be on to something sir. I had forgotten all about acorn. I believe it was Obama himself posting these effective attacks on this fresh new black GOP starlet. He was no doubt conferring with the grandson of Saul Alinsky, Shekkie Alinsky, who lives in Bill Ayers' basement. I have ascertained that Shekkie planned the Benghazi attacks and cover up from that location also. Now that the GOP has wrested control of the Senate, investigations into these devious deeds with be forthcoming.

 

He was booed when he voiced support for abortion, at the Republican convention. I can't imagine he could have expected a different result. Imagine someone praising gun rights at the Democratic convention, what would you expect to happen?

So you discount their constant playing of the race card, and the exploitation of racial situation where there are none. Cases in point Martin/Zimmerman incident and the Brown/Wilson incident, or #OWS debacle. In each case there was initial violence by the deceased felon stopped by the intended victim and the violence against capitalism. Black on Brown and Black on White violence that went wrong. Yet in the eyes of Progressive racist Left. This is no different than what the "Progressive" Democrats have perpetrated for 150 years. Only this time they've focused the hate upon their ideological opponents.

 

The 1996 convention was in...1996, that had nothing to do with the black balling (SJW: codeword alert!) of Powell later. Powell endorsed Obama twice, in 2008 and in 2012. I've seen him on various talking head shows during that time, and he's endorsed single payer healthcare as well as the entirety of the Obama agenda. So considering he's now to the left of most Democrats, I'm not even sure why he is still in the Republican Party.

As far as the shucking and jiving comment, I suppose your assumption is that is a racist term. So...was Andrew Cuomo racist when he used it too?

Who knows who did it? A troll can pretend to have views that he or she doesn't really have. In any case the actions of a troll of any ideology doesn't justify making sweeping generalizations.

 

Neither Michael Brown nor Trayvon Martin had ever been convicted of a felony. The police of the U.S. have a history of discriminating against black people, and studies show that this continues today. No wonder people cried foul when they learned that the police initially released Zimmerman without charge, and the an unarmed black guy had been shot to death by a cop.

Any social progressive worth their salt 150 years ago would have been a Radical Republican.
