Yeah, the Fulton system looks a little bit like the Corona satellite recovery setup they used in the late 50s and early 60s with the C-119. Snaring returning satellites over the Pacific. Sounds like fun.

Ah I could not see his face, I have ready plenty on Carlos Hathcock. Was he not the sniper that shot through his enemies scope? Who is Simo? Yes, he was quite an impressive man.
Simo Hayha was a Finnish sniper in WWII. He is credited with over 500 confirmed kills in a 100 day period...before he was shot in the face himself by a Soviet sniper. Didn't kill him, but it took him out of commission being a sniper. What is amazing is that Simo used iron sights on his rifle. There's also a Soviet sniper who is credited with a possible 700 confirmed kills... and Soviet female sniper with over 300 confirmed kills. Off the top of my head I can't recall their names. Typically though, Simo Hayha is listed as the top sniper to ever exist, but the Soviets had some good one's themselves. Carlos Hathcock is the top U.S. sniper in terms of confirmed kills...
in terms of most confirmed kills, at least during vietnam, Carlos isnt top dog.
