Wow!!! Romney paid almost $2,000,000 in taxes in 2011. I'll bet he has contributed more in one year to government revenues than Barack Obama has in life. He gave a ton to charity too which turns into food, shelter, care, etc... for the poor. I am Catholic and have worked in conjunction with the LDS Church on food banks and homeless shelters. He still pays an ABSURDLY low tax rate. But it does appear that Reid lied. As I suspected he did. And I think that's worse than Romney not paying his fair share since Romney still payed all he was legally required to. There is simply no excuse for having taxes that low for capital gains though. It's completely unfair to people who actually work for a living. And it explains why we have such a bubble in the financial markets. Kudos to Romney for being so generous with his money though.
