I agree....but the jobs that would have been created are not necessarily "low-paying".....though I would expect that some upper manager positions that would have been created might exceed $125k.

Yes, they would be at least $15/hr. Amazon has already stated that $15/hr is the minimum they pay US workers....and I agree that many positions would likely not be much higher than that for opening wages.

 

How can you trust IQ numbers coming from a govt that suppresses free speech and has few laws protecting its citizens? Any Chinese that come over here are wealthy, not your ordinary citizen. And whatever groundbreaking genetic research they're doing that ignores completely ****ed up practices the rest of the world wouldn't dare attempt, is dangerous as hell. Yes, I'm afraid the Chinese will be first to design super babies through genetic alterations that will completely **** over mankind, and bring about whatever version of Armageddon you care to imagine. Same with any super virus or technology that destroys us. Because they truly don't give a **** about the human race, as evidenced how they treat people. Its clear as day.

Regarding patents and "producing" the most of this or that. It doesn't translate to value. They also produced entire cities that are completely empty. We already know they can produce a lot of something, because they have a lot of money, because they work their citizens like slave labor, but nothing they produce is of a quality we would call "good". Its mostly complete crap. Their social currency thing they've got over there is a Black Mirror episode, that's scary as hell. We can do anything they're doing over there, but we don't often because its so screwed up or breaks international laws. The IP theft is still inexcusable. Should have stopped all trade and business dealings with them a long time ago as soon as they started pulling that crap. The world was extremely stupid handing over the manufacturing base to them.

Sorry, but they're not a society ANYONE in the world wants to emulate or really be a part of. People just want to escape. They only rose to power because they squash all freedom in their country and the people have no control over anything. And sadly our greedy corporations sold their souls to them to manufacture it all.
