More Lies: "I never said you could keep it"!

Why? You do not believe it's Obamacare that causes Insurance companies to cancel policies left and right? Yes, no?

 

What's really odd is that he can't seem to accept the fact that his words are on tape. There are at least 27 soundbytes out there w/him saying the same thing over and over and that fact doesn't mean a thing to him....

 

Like it or not liberals, your man Obama did indeed promise that people could keep their plans and people really are losing their plans.

The liberals really are in denial. Many of them on this forum coming across like children with their fingers in their ears saying la la la la la, I can't hear you.

It's almost as if people feel the attack is on the person, not the plan. The plan is proving itself horrible and it was sold via lies so what should people feel in their eyes? Just believe that it's best for everyone and there won't be any more lies? Just accept what he meant and disregard what he said over and over? People were given congnitive thinking abilities for a reason, but some just want to protect him at any cost to their own conscience. I just don't get how they can still claim no lies were told. As if this was the only topic/issue we've been lied to? But the apologists just keep on coming.

After the fact we'll all agree he lied anyway, so can't we just cut to the chase? Just like we did with Reagan who didn't know about Iran Contra, just like we did with Bush and no new taxes, just like we did with Clinton (all of 'em) and just like we do today with Bush lying about WMD and other topics. Why can't we all just agree today that the lies are the lies? Why wait until 2017 to agree when we know that's where it'll end up anyway.

Mitt was a liar as well, not really disputable. But what's the point? Or were you just trying to deflect? It's not a right/left thing. It's a truth/honesty thing.

Mitt was simply being Mitt. He really wanted to be everything to everybody. So he told everyone whatever they wanted to hear even if it was the exact opposite of what he told another crowd the previous day. His being against Obamacare was classic given it was his freakin' plan.

This is true, to a point.

But clearly many Americans were fooled by that statement into believing that their insurance policies wouldn't in fact be in violation of the ACA and thus be cancelled by the insurance companies.

The ACA in fact took away the insurance companies ability to offer these policies.

After doing some reading I changed my opinion on this subject, I used to think that the ACA wasn't responsible here, but the truth is it is, and I have to believe Obama knew many policies were going to be voided by this law when he made those statements.
