Will he attempt to run to the left of Obama if he wins the Republican Nomination like he did against Kennedy? You can say surely he won't but no one really knows but Romney. Plus Romney is a liberal republican, has always been and likely never change.

Having never been on welfare, I have no clue what the tax rate on welfare income happens to be. Enlighten me Oh semi learned one.

And since 51% of actual wages earners, the bottom 51%, got tax returns equaling 100% of their withholding, what is their effective tax rate?

And if you care to go to IRS.gov and look it up. 26 million of the lowest INCOME EARNERS got all their withholding returned and received $59 billion dollars in EITC rebates. An average of $2,269.23 each. Making an effective tax rate somewhere below 0%.

 

The poor pay taxes every time they buy something. I'm sure most would like to be above the poverty level again and even so to enable a cheap tax rate like Romney's.

The conservatives over here don't give a toss about poor people either. Its each to their own.

 

What he says and what he means are miles apart. He supports the Ryan Plan that wipes out safety nets.

 

Maybe they care more about the poor than you do.

Conservatives have a higher opinion of the poor by believing they can do better than they are except for the interference of wipe-every-nose lib do-gooders.

When you coddle the poor and reward failure you get more of the same.

It may be too late to save adult Obama voters who are set in their ways but each new generation offers new hope.
