I would agree everything about him indicates hes probably a good wan with a lot of character.

but so was Mr. Rogers and hes not going to be president either.

What he did in France alone as a missionary was nothing short of incredible and inspirational.

His dad did not give him any wealth.

Get honest for a change. Why not post the whole statement?
"I'm not concerned about the very poor." he said Wednesday. "We have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I'll fix it.

Gee...he also said he's not concverned about the rich because they can take care of themselves. Do you disagree with that?

Mr Rogers was not a astute business leader, Governor, CEO of the Olympics (basically). He's a Republican that won in Massachusetts.

I don't want to be Mr. Romney defense guy, because I don't agree with a lot of his ideology. But, it appear you liberals don't even know the man's history.

until 1990 missionaires and their families had to pay their own way. making a mission to a more exotic or distant place more expensive.

the church since figured out if they redistribute the wealth its a tax write off....so thats what they do now.

His dad did not give him wealth.... but his dad's wealth bought Mitt first-class opportunities and connections.

Again, I will remind you that your original argument is that he was a 100% self-made man. That's just not the case.

A ticket to France costs less than a ticket to Argentina and the cost of living for these missionaries is meager. Your argument is pretty weak for the sake of bashing Mitt.

After losing to Gingrich and his message of hate and lunacy in SC, Romney has vowed not to get out-crazied again. Since the Republican party is a hate group, look for these two pieces of garbage to out-do each other to say the most bigoted statements to get the (not subject to voter ID) votes of conservative cowards and teaparty bigots. Then whoever gets the nomination will get off his hind legs and try to string a few coherent sentences together to get the independent vote.

Could care less if you do. I was more concerned about you telling the truth, because taxes are paid on that stock when they are cashed in. There are times when the stock is worth less, but you wouldn't want to say that now would you.

I posted the link to the whole thing, but what he said is just like his famous "I like to fire people". This guy is on another planet when it comes to relating to anyone not mega rich, and has no use for anyone not in his thin air of wealth. His statements
like "corporations are people" or "let foreclosures tank", or not bailing out Detroit's car makers, are a clear window into his psyche, and such a person is not fit to be president in these times of Bush bred crisis.

That's certainly fair, but ask them to pony up a tiny bit more for the good of America after they've benefitted so greatly from American/s? I doubt you hear him go there.

Really? How are all those stock options working out for those at Enron? Or maybe Solyndra? I can name hundreds those options ending up worthless. I would think it would be better to get your money and pay taxes on it at 35%, which still wouldn't be enough for you jealous liberals.

You and the rest of the lefties can whine all you want on the 15% cap gain tax, but the fact is, Obama and the left wads didn't do a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing thing to change it when they had a chance, why is that mello? So where is all the loophole closure? How about a flat tax?

And let's not forget that serial liar Romney supports the Ryan Plan that seeks to dismantle the safety nets, and is willing to leave those less fortunate down instead of lifting them up to be even more contributious to society.

And... he's the King of taking things about Obama out of context.

He was speaking about this in a larger context, not a narrow clueless leftist misconstruation that the press and the mindless Obama voters thinks it is.

Reproting the truth is kissing butt. Leftists are so small minded, I guess its a side effect of dependency.

No, it is a conservative that gives those in need a hand up instead of hand out. That is how this nation has gotten so (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up, this problem didn't exist before the so called liberal ass safety net came into the picture.
