The FBI DID inform the DNC - this is per Comey - supposedly they just reached some low-level flunky at the DNC who didn't even pass the info on.
The FBI - per Comey - has had an open investigation into Trump campaign ties to the Russians since last summer - why Comey didn't announce THAT but only announced the FBI was investigating the Wikileaked Hillary emails - he hasn't said. The fact he is a republican MIGHT have something to do with it.

MY OPINION -
The Russians also hacked the RNC. They had talks with the Trump team - offering deals if sanctions were eased, and if Trump wanted to be hard on the Russians, the Russians would release to wikileaks GOP dirt they'd hacked.

This is no longer about the election. It is about exactly how corrupt a regime we have in power.

 

With Trump such a long shot and every media source said he didn't stand a chance, why on earth would the Russians go to him for a deal? Why wouldn't they hit Clinton up for a payback for all those millions funneled to her slush fund? Why wouldn't they want a payback for their investment of $500k for her husbands speech? The FBI has had transcripts of the phone calls for a year, are you telling me there is anything left to investigate? Why would the Trump team take such a chance when his election was such a long shot? If the Russians also hacked the RNC, why would they then collude with Russia? It all smells of a political witch hunt and a red herring to deflect from the corruption of the DNC and top Democrats.

 

The Russians HATED Clinton. She spoke up about their sham elections. The slush fund you speak of is a fabrication - there was no payback to be had.
The RNC was hacked and the "dirt" not released - in exchange for favorable treatment.
Trump certainly has given Putin favorable treatment - that cannot be denied.

 

You have no proof and neither does anyone else that that is why the RNC emails were not released. Assange says they were old emails and there was nothing in them worth releasing. If Russia hated the Clinton's so much why did they give them all that money? It certainly wasn't out of the goodness of their heart. But I can understand if they do. After all, look at all the war mongering Obama and her are responsible for. Egypt, Libya, Syria, the coup in Ukraine. Hows that for interfering in an election?

The Russians have been hacking at both parties and everyone prominent for about ten years, they hit the jackpot with Hillary and her crew, didn't find anything compromising enough in their digging around Republicans.

I at least state what is my opinion - I didn't allege it was fact.

Trump has also called NATO obsolete, praised Brexit - and he's a proven liar, so what he says one day is well proven false the next - he has, however, consistently praised Putin. He has appointed Tillerson, who he'd never met, as Sec of State - a Russian medal-winner.
Trump didn't even know Crimea had been annexed.

The investigation is a ploy, it will never conclude, there is no "smoking gun", the aim is to handicap Trump with the suspicion. Democrats just can't accept everyone doesn't agree with their policies.
