    I own guns and I have a concealed carry permit, I am not against open carry but I would never open carry. It puts a target on your back anyone that has nefarious intent and is armed is going to shoot you first and if their gun is concealed you wont see it coming.

    When I have mine no one knows even my wife has to ask me If I have it.

    I don’t think this is an official MSNBC poll at all I think it is click bait advertising

    Really? That is the best argument you can muster? Escaped convicts? Obtrusive?

    Do you honestly believe that guns are the root cause of the mass violence that has happened? If you believe guns are the root cause then please give some plausible explanation why this issue is something which has only happened fairly recently.

    No. But do YOU really honestly believe any slight changes to an amendment (an AMENDMENT for fcks sakes!), signifies the END of gun ownership for all?

    I dont lean towards *Village Idiot* on any side.

    And please dont insult me with the slippery slope bs. We've already had the purposed amendments and all it led to was less mass shootings.

    It pains me to say... this poll is absolute bull ****, somehow someway. These results are not an accurate representation of where the nation stands on this issue.

    I'm not going to argue semantics with you.
    The root cause of mass shootings is complex but that doesn't mean we can't do anything to prevent more of them.

    Why change it? You know damn well why. I'm sick of people using the same lame conspiracy arguments to stick to the battle cry of disarmament.

    Slight changes =less mass shootings, dead kids. It really is that simple.

    Do you honestly believe that 90%+ people really believe it's a constitutional right to carry, with as contentious as this issue has been as of late... in the wake of multiple highly publicized mass shootings?

    That would be a miracle.

    I'm a staunch supporter of 2A rights, I have no delusions about the uphill battle at hand, and I'm not willing to celebrate some obvious b.s. poll as a victory.

    Don't downplay or cheapen the fight that awaits us who support 2A rights.

    This poll has somehow been manipulated, obviously.

    It doesn't represent a victory. The fight for 2A rights has entered another round, the opponent is energized and confident. It's not time to be overly confident and showboating.

    Of course. But, here in California we have no right to Open Carry and getting Conceal Carry is nearly impossible in most places. We have lost our Constitutional Rights in California, and Leftists cheer it on.
