"Muslim ban" is more a bad reflection on MOHAMMAD than on Trump

I don't doubt that, but the overwhelming majority of them seem to be something like a Trojan horse that you use to confront Christian conservatives on Christianity.

There's nothing wrong with religious belief if the teachings do not cause violence or other harmful problems. There are a number of them that don't, some of which are listed in the OP.

If you had god/Jesus' magic all-powerful skills would you have seen to it that the Bible was written in (apparently) better wording, so its true meanings would be far more clearer than they are? I would have, how about you, Max? Can you answer "yes" to this question? It would be far far better for humanity if this would have been done, no? Or are very unclear texts what is best for humanity?

In one form of Buddhism they claim that there are 32,000 foot-tall beings - that removes one from reality - when one is removed from reality it leads to problems.

I don't SET OUT to condemn Christianity in an anti-Islam post, but invariably a pious/arrogant Christian jumps in to an anti-Islam thread, and their hypocrisy must be dealt with, Brewskier. They seem to think that, for example, their texts are far far more kind and compassionate than the Muslim's texts - but of course they couldn't BE more wrong! I want to educate them, because I care about them.

If it was really from an all-knowing "god" it wouldn't NEED explaining!

When do you think that talk of putting Muslims in camps will slowly start to take place? I think, maybe, w/in 10 years. You?

The old testament is a historical record of why God sent Jesus to mankind and fix all the f-ups that man had created.

And when did Jesus support slaves?

“do to others what you would have them do to you” Are you suggesting that Jesus wanted to become a slave?

Try me. Pick one scripture to start with and I'll explain it to you.

I just presented DOZENS. But having to defend all those barbaric passages would be too hard for someone, so you just dismiss my points by replying "Pure ignorance of scripture." Please realize that you make the same mistakes in logic/reason as our Muslim friends do, so please stop thinking that you are better than Muslims. Keep in mind that BOTH Jesus and Mohammad/Allah are so barbaric that they approve of ethical, hard-working (let's pretend) people like me getting basically the same punishment for not "believing" in them (burning in "hell"). Hitler didn't even burn all the Jews he killed, so they are a step below Hitler, ethically, compassionately. Yes, I myself used to believe in Jesus, but then I found my compassion and love.

Let's start with a very very clear one - you approve of beating slaves, or you'd have found the moral courage to remove it from your Bible:
"When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)"

Will you condemn god/Jesus for allowing this passage to survive thousands of years, untouched by morality? I do.

No but there shouldve been. Trump promised he wouldn't be politically correct. It's time to stop it. America is a western country with western thinking people and it has no place for Islam, PERIOD.

The ones here can stay but they should be monitored. And every Mosque (terrorist planning headquarters) should be bugged and dispatched with spies.

It's also the GENERAL OVERALL TONE - hatred of women, that I oppose in the Bible/Qur'an and Buddhist texts. Jesus hated women or he would have, in the last 2000 years of "watching over us", tried to educate us to change those barbaric texts. No need, with the advent of Modern Secular Humanism, to cling to an ancient barbaric belief system - we've come too far as human beings. It would be like today clinging to one of those super-gigantic 80's cell phones - unwilling to modernize!

I don't own slaves and never have. Christians don't live under Old Testament law. Do you know the difference between the Old testament and the New Testament?

From reading a number of your 13,000+ posts over the years, I have a hunch that you know a good amount about Islam. What are the top 3 worst things about the Islamic texts, in your opinion, that go against, as you say, the values of "western thinking people"? I've asked this of Islam-apologists, and they steadfastly refuse to even answer the question - so the truth needs to come out - let's start with you. Please educate people about the 3 worst things.

Great, so you've found the moral courage to remove a verse that says to beat/kill innocent people from the book that you give your children that you say is the best book of all time! Congratulations.

It's the only way to keep them contained. You have to remember Muslims hate us down to their very core. And giving them the freedom of privacy only allows them time to plot our assassinations.

I know you like to bash Christianity too and that's your deal. But they hate Christians and Atheists alike, they do not differentiate. We are all infidels to them and all need to be subjugated to their will. But they can't get away with it if our boot is on their neck.

So we can agree that god got it wrong in the OT, correct? And we can agree that Jesus clearly SHOULD have simply said "work to end slavery w/in the next 30 years", since any caring person who boasted of being a moral teacher would have done, seeing slavery all around him, right? Can we agree on that, Max.

God never condoned or approved of slavery in Scripture. God doesn't say what any man dictates. Who are you or anyone else to put words in God's mouth. He's not your errand boy.

I applaud your understanding of Islam - you get it. I admire you for that.

So we can also agree that JESUS is also full of hatred since Jesus also "hate [Muslims] and atheists alike, they do not differentiate -we are all infidels to them and all need to be subjugated to their wil.", since the fate of non-Christians (to Jesus), just like the fate of non-Muslims to a Muslim, is to burn, burn, burn....correct? In other words, Jesus hates non-believers just as much as Mohammad did, correct? So Jesus is arguably, effectively, just as bad as Mohammad, correct?

PS as a Modern Secular Humanist I love humanity enough to let non-believers into "heaven", if it were up to me, so of course I've grown beyond the hatred that Jesus/Mohammad have in their hearts for those that are simply different than they are - they are the ultimate xenophobes.

Criticism of Mohammed is banned by Islam. It's quite clear why. He is indefensible.

Great, so show us the many many passages where his grand compassion shines through where god/Jesus specifically condemns the barbaric act of slavery. We'll wait.
Telling us not to mix fabrics is apparently a priority to this guy, so I'm sure that he knows how to prioritize, so therefore he must have told us to do something far far more of a priority than to not mix fabrics - to not own slaves. Surely.

Great point. I never thought about it that way!
Yes, it would be impossible to defend having sex with a 9 year-old girl! Mohammad understood the custom at the time, but of course didn't understand right from wrong. One deserves a prophet who understands right from wrong - or else one has such a low self-esteem that they need serious help.

According to your description, though, Jesus only "gets" nonbelievers in the afterlife, while Islam goes after living nonbelievers.

Even according to your faulty premises, Jesus is therefore preferable...especially since you don't believe in an afterlife.

In other words, reading between the lines of your post, you AGREE with me that Christians/Jesus are just as uncaring (all non-believers in that particular religion burn in "hell" - no matter how ethical Gandhi, or Einstein, etc. might have been) as Muslims/Mohammad, but you won't admit that since that's too depressing for you to have to deal with that fact - because if you deal with it honestly you'd have to leave your religion that you were born into. Trust me, I'm a former Christian, so I understand the mental confusion that thinking/caring Christians go through.

    Have a great day.
