"Muslim ban" is more a bad reflection on MOHAMMAD than on Trump

Perhaps you're not acquainted with the story of the Pharaoh and slaves.

The "afterlife" is 99.99999999999999999999%+ of our total existence, supposedly (if it exists), so yes, Jesus would therefore be 0.000000000000001% more compassionate than Mohammad/Allah. Not enough of a difference to matter, though, of course - so Jesus/Mohammad are still just as bad, in the long-run, big-picture.

It's hard to understand the lack of comprehension in the way people see things today; so many have one element they are adamant about and dismiss everything else.

Islam is a unique issue. Some people think this is a religious injustice or a rejection of immigration altogether, and both are wrong. Islam is not like any other religion in that it is also a political ideology and force. The Nazi movement was an ideological and political force, but not a religion- but you can see comparisons between the ideology of the Nazis and the ideology of Islam. Religions that teach the destruction of those other than their own members, that condemn and destroy groups of people for various personal beliefs, that act to create tiers of value within their system by degrading women- these and a hundred other things separate Islam from the rest of the worlds religions. I think most religions have been abusive at one point in time- but Islam tops the list, and unlike others it never matured out of it's barbarian middle-age thinking. It's repugnant values are not just limited to active terrorists either; heads of Islamic states support it. The multi-million dollar bounty or "hit" placed on British author Salman Rushdie by the Ayatollah Khomeini 30 years ago still stands, even though the Ayatollah that created it died 27 years ago. Anyone that supports a belief system that teaches such values certainly presents a different risk than those of any other religion. Muslims do not control their religion- the religion controls them. Rather than the person, it is the fact that Muslims choose to be part of an ideology that teaches hate, promotes violence, promotes discrimination- and all the things that we have been trying to eliminate for a hundred years. The label of religion is being used as some sort of free pass that exempts Islam from modern-day values, and I think that is ludicrous. If the Nazis had claimed to be a religious entity, how would we feel about them? Invite them to move in?

I live my life how I want. I'm more of a cultural Christian.

Christianity was fundamental in building western civilization and I aim to preserve Western Civilization.

God is a barbarian - would you have just killed Pharaoh (one man, the culprit) if you didn't like his actions instead of killing huge numbers of innocent first-born sons to get him to change his ways? I would have, that's because Modern Secular Humanists are far more moral than Christians are. Would you have, Max? This is a very telling question regarding your morality. If you can't answer "yes" then keep in mind their is a belief system that can answer "yes" - a more compassionate belief system.

Acknowledge that God freed the slaves from Pharaoh.

So the magic invisible Jesus in not coming back to give anybody "eternal life", then, correct? So therefore Jesus was a delusional liar, correct? If you don't answer "yes", then you are not really "more of a cultural Christian" like you claim. What say you, my friend?

That story does say that, yes, I agree.
Can you agree that "god" was a supremacist prick as he allegedly called those people "his chosen people"? A Modern Secular Humanist is more moral than your "god", of course, because we believe that ALL OF HUMANITY are "the chosen people" - we are not racists/ethnicists. This supremacism is causing problems in the Middle East, as we are seeing every day with Israel. This is a blight on humanity - to be laid squarely at the feet of this god myth.

I'm going to start calling you "Art", because you are the Artful Dodger in that you avoid every question I throw at you. Care to try again? "would you have just killed Pharaoh (one man, the culprit) if you didn't like his actions instead of killing huge numbers of innocent first-born sons to get him to change his ways? I would have, that's because Modern Secular Humanists are far more moral than Christians are. Would you have, Max? "
Max, I'm showing you a way to move beyond even "god"....you might want to take notes, my friend.

Not effective. For example, Bin Laden was killed. Didn't kill the ideology of jihadists.

You have to be there to realize that a magic talking dead guy walking on water and magically coming back from a magic invisible place in the sky to let people "survive their own deaths" up on a magic invisible elitist (no Hindus, no Buddhist, no Muslims, etc.) place in the sky is a con-job?

    - - - Updated - - -

Bin Laden was not the underlying cause - more will take his place, and in greater numbers due to them wanting revenge for him.....no, FAITH is the underlying problem.

Jews are "chosen" to bring the Messiah. Tell me why there are few Jews and over a billion muslims, yet Jews dominate in the arts and science?

I would have, how about you, navigator? If you fail this moral test then you might want to re-think your life.

Well...since the "afterlife" is almost certainly a metaphor for "life after enlightenment", your premise remains incorrect. Those who reject salvation just continue to live in misery here and now.

I find it doubtful you truly believe this specious argument in any case; IMO you are just agitating.

I hate the hatred towards non-believers that Christians/Muslims/Mohammad/Jesus all have. I hate their hatred, but LOVE the people. I'm more ethical, and have less hatred than Christians/Muslims because I answer "yes" to this question: "if you had Jesus' alleged magic super-powers, would you move beyond Jesus and allow ethical non-believers into heaven and to avoid hell?"
    Your answer, RiseAgainst?

    Have a great afternoon.

And likewise, Jesus' resurrection is just a metaphor for, say, rebirth, and not to be taken LITERALLY - can we at least agree on that?

God loves them more, that's why that savage barbarian would kill completely innocent first-born sons (children) to help his favorite race/ethnicity. God is a racist. You are better than that "god"....or are you a racist, Max? I've moved beyond racism/god, can you?

You are correct I don't believe in a magic "afterlife" up in some magic invisible gated community - but hey, at least they don't have to put up with any Hindus up there, thanks to Jesus' bigotry. :)

    [Yes, I'm kidding.]

    - - - Updated - - -

I won't harp on this more on this thread with you, but please realize that some day you'll become a more caring, more compassionate person, when you can summon the love to find it in your heart to answer "yes" to this question: "if you had Jesus' alleged magic super-powers, would you move beyond Jesus and allow ethical non-believers into heaven and to avoid hell?"
You'll thank me when you do.

    Have a logical week.

Did you not read what I wrote? Wouldn't have changed anything. Killing the lieutenants and making the leader suffer exacts a more precise strike.

You could be correct, but over the years I have found the Bible to be surprisingly factual in instances where all reason pushed against it. For example, I read some time ago that the "parting of the Red sea" correlates strongly timewise with a geological disturbance of some sort.

Using modern medical methods, it would, possibly, be easy to "bring back to life" someone that had merely been in a coma....

You make a good point, as Jews are THOUSANDS of times (based on their total populations - 14 million to 1.55 billion), on a per-capita basis, more likely to have won a Nobel Prize in science than a Muslim is. Islam seems to destroy brain cells.

So it appears you have a personal problem with God. God also killed his own son, didn't he?

    We agree on that point.

Acknowledge that burning Gandhi alive for the "crime" of simply not "believing" in a particular carpenter from Nazareth is barbaric and inhuman - and that followers of said barbarian are equally as immoral.
