Why in the world would a Christian set out to publicly offend Jews by eating pork in front of them? I don't think they would do physical harm to you, but they might. They would certainly have a negative impression of Christians, and perhaps do little to help Christians in the future, and perhaps hinder them at the first opportunity (and you never know why).

Not from India. Poor people do not have the several thousand dollars cost for the trip. Otherwise they would be relative millionaires in India. Average Indian salary $1700/year, US $60,000 per year. How many from India come over per year as lottery visa winners, refugees or political assylum seekers. And if naturalized citizens can afford to pay for the cost of travel for their relatives these citizens are not going to be poor Americans living on welfare

The pig farmers in the slums of Cairo are doing better since Morsi was overthrown, but I still wouldn't eat pork publicly anywhere in the Muslim world. That would be dumb. You might have to pay a steep price, and in much of that part of the world, you would for sure pay with your death.
