see, I disagree.... FSU is a team that does not need the SEC. We didn't need them in the 90's when they cried we were scared (LSU quote).... We don't need them now....

We may play the same kind of football.... but that's because we are a team in the south (being in the SEC or not doesn't affect that), but we have proven we can compete, and beat the SEC elite teams in terms of both recruitting and on the field.... and other years, they may out do us.... Bama doesn't win the SEC every year... but they compete every year. FSU sent plenty to the NFL last year, so FSU is just as big a pipeline as any SEC school year in and year out.

Winning Championships is the goal, not "playing in the SEC" Only SEC fans are so full of there selves that they think SEC championships > NCAA championships...

NCState coach apologizing for accusing FSU of cheating.... BISH, you better recognize who the ACC's best chance of bringing home that prize purse the entire conference enjoys if they win....

now, line up behind Dabo to kiss the ring

    "who does #2 work for!!!"

but, in all fairness, had that 4-0 team been an SEC team, they would have already been ranked in the top 10.

Oregon struggled against Wash State a few weeks back.... 38-31..... and as Wash State was driving for a potential game tying score, a huge non-call pass interference that favored Oregon, killed the drive and they never got the ball back.

at this point though, Oregon needs the SEC champ to have 1 loss, and all the other sec teams to have 2 losses to try and sneak in the playoffs at the #4 spot

can't wait.... I told my facebook buddies (one ut fan, one uf fan) that I'm going to be talking schmack about which ever teams is losing, and if it flip-flops in the game.... I'm going to flip flop the schmack talk. This is honestly a game I can't lose and can talk crap no matter what happens.... should be fun

why? because they are both overrated teams? this is the #secbias game of the week as whichever team wins will be crowned elite by ESPN, even though both teams haven't proven anything other than one beat an obviously overrated South Carolina, and the other one beat an obviously overrated LSU

isn't this the team that couldn't score a touchdown against a team that had obvious weaknesses that both AU and OU could exploit? Why is 4-0 Ole Miss ranked #11 while 4-0 Arizona unranked entering this week?

    #secbias game#2 of the week

Without Gurly... Ga is in for a fight..... but Gurley is going to be the difference in a ga win

if LSU wins, look for them to crack the top 10 again and AU to drop to #11. That way, when LSU plays Bama later, if they win there, you can have LSU in the playoffs with 1 loss.

Go ND.... they need to be undefeated for FSU on the 18th. Beating a 1 loss notre Dame at home, while Bama beats Georgia State by 20 will surely have Bama jump FSU in all the polls, despite FSU not having a loss for 22 straight by that point....

Spartie/Nebraska.... Nebraska sucks.... but they have that one guy that can break a tie against Arkansas state late in the 4th (why it took that long to beat Ark State is beyond me)

Bobby Bowden admitted to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “I like to win games, and I can’t think of a tougher place to do that than the SEC.”

FSU's football reputation was built on squashing cupcakes, and they joined the right conference to continue that tried and true method of enhancing their W|L ratio. Nice little run for the ACC in 2013, but it's over now and the ACC is back to being exactly what they've always been.

Beating the brakes off of Oregon last year might have gotten them ranked -- had they not been an 8-4 team. Those wins over UNLV and UTSA were very impressive, huh? ;)

Have to give Rich Rod credit where due, though. Michigan's football problems go far beyond the Head Coach. Georgia should have dumped Richt and hired RR back when they had the chance. Florida will probably get him now.

Definitely a possibility for upsets with Florida vs Tennessee and Auburn vs LSU. K State has already produced a template for shutting down the Auburn offense -- just take away the QB run. I wouldn't consider a loss in either of the games in Mississippi to be much of an upset. I expect MSU and Bama to win, but both games are too close to call, in my opinion. If Hutson Mason is the best quarterback that Georgia has, then 2015 is going to be a rough year for the Dawgs. Georgia has lost two more defensive backs in the past week or so. One of them quit and the other was medically disqualified due to a previously undetected spinal problem. Looks like Mizzou is the best bet for winning the SEC East this year -- for whatever that's worth.

Nebraska is the B1G's best chance at becoming relevant again, now that the PAC is beginning their annual melt-down.

man, you didn't bat too well this past weekend

I'm not sure who you had winning as I can't tell who the upset would be if they won.... but it was a pretty intense game.

I had much fun with my gator buddy and UT buddy. They were both trying to sell me on the SEC style defenses their teams possessed.... I think it's just two inept offenses seeing who could suck the least.... and UF did that.

    Auburn crushed.... wrong
    MSU.... right
    Bama.... wrong

The east.... IDK... what a cluster it all is. SC "elite" losing to UK.... There are a number of teams still in the drivers seat in the East.

    GA
    UF
    Mizzou....

The west.... lol.... Bama got exposed... and now people are simply picking them apart. Still a good team based on all the athletes.... but Bama needs to adjust some.

And I love love LOVED (read - hate) how beating a team by 40, covering the 38.5 point spread... and FSU "struggled"

ESPN isn't going to be happy unless there is an all SEC playoffs, are they?

    Still having reading comprehension problems?

I said that it was possible for Auburn and Florida to be upset. Auburn impressed me with their win over LSU. Florida didn't impress me by squeaking past the Vols. I said that the Mississippi games were both too close to call. FSU's lopsided score against Weak Forest doesn't indicate how badly the Seminoles performed in that game.

Unlike yourself, I don't claim to have psychic powers regarding the future outcome of games. I will, however, go on the record as believing that FSU will not make it through this season undefeated, and they only play two more teams that are better than Vandy in the regular season.

well, it's always possible.... so again, not much of a prediction.... if they didn't... you then just claim "I only said it was possible"

what aboot that Bama Tide ..... hope you enjoyed that #1 the SEC network bought for them on the coach's poll, you only got to see it one game.... lol

..... and meawhile.... FSU extends their streak to 21

it is very possible FSU loses.... slow starts are tough to keep overcoming.

At this point in the season, all it takes is ANYONE to beat FSU, and the SEC "wins"..... meanwhile, it takes EVERY SEC team losing TWICE for you to "lose". I understand fully, why you want FSU to lose.... they are the anti-SEC

Bama or any SEC team can make the playoffs with one loss and not win the SEC.

FSU, Oregon, OU, OSU, Baylor, Notre Dame can NOT make the playoffs with one loss. FSU Baylor and ND are the only 3 teams left that can prevent the all SEC dream playoffs.... and ND and FSU play and will eliminate one or the other.

You know what? Marshall won't likely make the playoff either, in spite of the fact that they're stomping every cupcake on their schedule.
