    I said politician lies all the time. You called me on that. I gave you an exemple of a major euro politician who lied for years yet staid in power.
    If a politician think lying about his own mother can gives him an edge he would gladly do it.

    You don't know Western public opinion [and pay attention, Benjamin knows it very well]. This disqualified your hypothesis: Germans were Nazi in good part, but Western public opinion today doesn't discredit Germans and folk ...

    Furthermore, there is not "Palestinian problem" for Western public opinion [I cannot imagine why you think this].

    Ugh, no. Non-Muslims are not expected to live under Islamic law. They are expected to have their own religious courts of law. You can't get more tolerant than that.

    any non-Muslim who has the unfortunate fate of living in a Muslim state, should have full citizenship rights, equal to that of Muslims.

    Iran became an Islamic state. It wasn't until 1979. The non-Muslims who lived there before the revolution should be treated as equal citizens.

    Same as non-Christians in Iraq and Syria who now live in ISIS controlled lands.

    he is saying that if the Jews conquer Arab land, and make it into a Jewish state, its ok to treat Arab citizens lesser than Jewish citizens.

    Exactly, and since Islam is the fusion of the state and religion, non-Muslims will have to become Muslims if they want to live under Islamic law.

    Actually, if the Jews allowed non-Jews their own courts; and did not expect them to live under Jewish law, I wouldn't consider that as treating them "lesser." I don't know why you characterize it as such.

    No we were talking about Islamic Spain. He's advocating that it's normal for non-muslim to not be equal to muslim in an islamic country, which would be apartheid...

    At least that is the true Islamic interpretation of "no compulsion". Theocracies relentlessly abrogate the human and civil rights of its citizens. I guess you missed that in history class.

    No, they just have to be citizen. Just like muslim living in england enjoy the same right as brits even though england is officially christian (anglican with the queen, the head of state, being the leader of the church).
