Every now and then you need to toss a bone to the brothers Ryan, Sunday was one of those times.

The Ryan Brothers were game planning against a Patriots 3rd string Rookie QB who has very limited practice time with the whole offensive team thus I would not give the Ryan Brothers too much credit.

The Pats 3rd string QB played with a thumb that needed surgery against Buffalo. Congrats, Rex. What a great win for you.

Today Tom returns. The season begins. We need the Denver Horse Heads to lose.

Unfortunately I had to work when this game was on. I had to fill in and do a second shift, so I didn't get to see TB's return. Awesome that they won though!

That's what I heard! The replacements did a good job, but it's nice to have Brady back.

The O-line needs to remain healthy as must the tight ends

If the Pats can remain somewhat healthy, they will again hoist the Lombardi

There are a few other feel-good stories within the NFL and one is that i hope Dak continues winning at Dallas so we never have to hear from Romo again.

The other thing that I'd like to see is for Bortles to get the Jags to .500 or even better, 9-7

I can't wait to see how the Pats do against some better teams. Hopefully I'm able to watch at least some of the games this year, but my schedule is pretty crazy right now.

I'm 6 hours ahead, sometimes 7 depending where I am. So the 1PM games I can watch but any later get more difficult because I have to be up really early every day

You know I HATE IT....when for some reason I could not watch a game and I recorded it and EVERY F@#KING TIME....SOMEONE....would end up telling me who won BEFORE I got a chance to watch it!! LOL!!

Man I would take extraordinary measures too!! LOL!!

I would not answer my phone if it was a friend or relative I KNEW had watched the game but one time my Band had played in Connecticut in Hartford opening up for a major act at a place they used to call the MEADOWS....a giant outdoor amphitheater which can also close up......

......so the Red Sox were playing in like I think it was Game 2 against the Yankees in the ALCS.....and I did not see it and I did record it and would not answer my phone or anything and my doorbell rings that next afternoon as I had just woken up and was getting food and drink to sit in front of the big screen to watch the game and I go to the door and it's the UPS guy with a package and I sign and he see's the Red Sox t-shirt I am wearing and say's to me...."Hey...too bad the Sox lost last night huh?"

    AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

    LOL!!

Well the Patriots are now 5-1 after beating up the Bengals.

Gronk was an ANIMAL and he got a bit testy when a few Bengals players aimed for his lower legs but all is OK!!

They look very good after a slow start Sunday and Brady looks very sharp!

ESPN says with everyone coming back, the "Death Star is fully operational".

    Too funny.

Well the Patriots are now 6-1 after dismantling the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh.

You know....there is NOTHING that whines more than a STEELERS FAN after the Steelers loose to the Patriots and the Steelers lose to the Patriots.....A LOT!!!

    LOL!!!!

Well the Patriots play the Bills next Sunday in Buffalo at 1 pm and then they have a Bye Week before playing the Seahawks at home.

The Bills handed the Patriots their only loss this year as the currently 6-1 Patriots lost to the Bills using a 3rd string rookie Quarterback.

I am sure Tom Brady and the Patriots will be looking for payback against the Ryan Brothers and the Bills so I expect a blowout!!

When I watch on tv the various venues of the various sporting events heaving with humanity 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, and behaving like children, I find myself wondering how come there are so many people who don't have a life. One of the managers of a football team here (although I think I have to say 'squad' these days - more macho, doncha know? ), is called Jose Marinho: he has about as much charisma as the broom I use to sweep out my garage.

You mean a SOCCER TEAM right?

    LOL!!

The name FOOTBALL was first used in the United States in 1821 during College Football Games such as Harvard vs. Yale and this was many decades before Soccer was invented or played.

Have you ever played a sport?

    It's really fun!!

I have played on various Teams REAL FOOTBALL....American of course!! Soccer, Hockey, Tennis, Competitive Target Shooting with both firearm and bow.....and Baseball!!

A person who has actually played these sports can really appreciate the skill necessary to play upon the Professional Level!!

Now I am a big and very strong guy and I can throw a 92 mph fastball but to be able to throw at MLB level at 95 to 102 mph....and throw ACCURATELY every time.....well that takes incredible skill!!

To be able to throw a football like Tom Brady can and read the defense and learn 100's if not 1000's of different individual plays to MEMORY....well again....AMAZING!!

Yep, club level tennis; also badminton and squash.

'fun' is what children have, adults 'take pleasure in'.
