So you believe in freedom, only as long as it is your definition of freedom....ok...got it....

For what its worth the players were protesting the killing of unarmed minorities by the police. I find that disturbing as well. More importantly this nation was founded by people who disliked abuses by the British equivalent of the police. It is strange for conservatives of all people to complain when people object to police killing unarmed people.

To piggyback off of others, the reason for the protests in the first place should’ve been more apparent after what happened to Sterling Brown.

They are welcome to kneel and I'm free to shut the off! So, what are you whining about, again?

I believe it came about after 9/11 as a wag to show how the country stands together as a people. But once again the left would rather divide it with their politics.

Yep blacks should be allowed to park in handicapped spaces with impunity. They have rights don't they.

And the right ignores all abuses by the police, especially against minorities and the poor. Or denies they occur. Each has their own blind spots.

They should go back to staying in the locker room and introducing players.

Um, the NFL is there for our entertainment.

I don't need to know their politics.

You watch the NFL to see players stand for a couple of minutes? WTF is wrong with you? If they don't air the Anthem, do you want to ban the network?

EXACTLY. But forcing them to do it is the OPPOSITE of the freedom that the flag represents ;)

Nobody is forcing them to do either, Silly! It's a 15 yard penalty.

A foul is a rule infraction (eg. offensive kneeling) for which a penalty (eg. move back 15 yards) is prescribed, Silly!

They have this deep moral commitment to these national displays of disrespect to US, but a 15 yard penalty is too great a burden to bear?

    Give me an fn break!

What a bunch of drama queens!

What are you talking about. The TEAM gets fined by the NFL for the infraction ?

But don't let any of that get in the way of their right to free speech. That right carries the same weight wether you agree with the speech or not

Just a 15 yard penalty, Silly!
They can freely kneel and the NFL can freely assess the 15 yard penalties, Silly!
I support the free speech rights of the crybaby millionaires to kneel.
I support the free speech rights of the millionaire NFL to assess 15 yard penalties, and,
I support the right of Middle America to refuse to watch a bunch of millionaire cry babies that disrespect US, play a damn schoolyard game, Silly!

If you're going to debate an issue, please make sure you know that there are multiple aspects to what your debating.

NFL weighs 15-yard penalties for kneeling during national anthem:

    No need to apologize ;)

Any means to the liberal ends, including all removal of employer rights and complete removal of any logic related to how for-profut business works.

The liberal progressive agenda believes its perspectives are paramount to all others.

Your freedoms are paused while working for others

My good, it's like a bunch of kids complaining they have to clean their room before playing outside.

Nobody is interfering with their free speech. They can say whatever they want to on their own dime. They are not being forced to do anything other than make a choice, stay in the locker room or act like adults on the field. You're probably pro choice aren't you?
Right to fire your ass does too.

Not at all. What I'm saying is that something that is symbolic to you may very well mean something else to another person.
