Agreed! God Bless America. Americans are free to show their respect to Nike with their wallets...or not.
Liberals love anyone who hates the flag. Kaepernick has a right to protest on his own time, but he did it on the clock while being paid by the NFL. There is no doubt that the NFL lost millions of viewers because of a protest started by Kaepernick. Kaepernick was not fired, he chose to opt out of his contract to seek more money. Why would anyone want to hire someone that cost their business millions and possibly billions? Kaepernick is a guy who donated $25,000 to a group honoring a convicted cop killer who was a Black Libertarian Army member Assata Shakur who broke out of jail and fled to Cuba. The NFL was justified in turning their back on Kaepernick and consumers are justified in turning their back's on NIke.

If Krispy Kreme or Kentucky Fried Chicken sponsored Kap their sales would plummet. Good marketing move by Nike although they might lose a few golfers. Anytime you piss off bigots the world is a nicer place.
Nike is probably struggling to find a fck to give if you or anyone suddenly wants to hop on a high horse and “boycott.”
Patriotism doesn’t have one set of rules. And for the record, standing and saying the anthem and not burning the flag don’t prove anyone’s a patriot, anymore than standing in a river proves you’re a fish.
And yet Colin seems to think we need to give a fck about his taking a knee and the reasons why during the National Anthem. I think you missed the point of the post. It's the old saying - sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander.
I noticed you didn't give an example of your patriotism. If saying the pledge, not burning the flag and standing for the anthem is too difficult then why would I believe the left would do something more strenuous to show their patriotism?
Have you guys noticed something odd going on in this thread? First the left says they're protesting the flag because it represents an oppressive country, then they say it's just a piece of cloth and doesn't represent anything.
\ You want a explanation? Sure. Nike's base isn't Trump's core base, which is people in their 50's and older. Nike's base tends to be younger people, people born late in the Gen X/Y and people in the Millennial generation, people who have a more positive perception of Kaepernick and what he has done. So, its not alienating Nike's primary business. Trying to boycott this move will be harder than just flowing with it, aside Nike is not like Papa John's. They are much bigger, and a worldwide company. They saw Dicks Sporting Goods did something not approved by Trump, and Dicks sales went up following that move. Nike's famous tagline fits Kaepernick perfectly. Just. Do. It.
