Ok, since many are scared we will eventually have our firearms seized and then subjected by the government, what options do you feel are acceptable to limit or eliminate sale of guns to people deemed not eligible? Especially on the secondary market.

Except there are no zero supplies. The supermarkets where I live are stocked with food and supplies. Hell, just picked up toilet paper and food yesterday.

We got laws on the books spelling out very clearly sentences for such crimes if there were people out doing it then we probably wouldn't have those laws.
