She's a joke - she voluntarily goes to a Catholic college then cried "persecution" because they didn't provide her with free contraception. And she's attending law school which costs $10,000 or more per semester but claims she somehow isn't able to afford her own contraceptives. But hey if Dems can try (and fail) to use her as a way to get Rush off the air, then she's a hero.
LOL Mr Crusader look what the actual crusades did to King Richard. And that was against the Moors, you're on a crusade against your own country.
I don't care....I'm not a Republican. Start a thread if you want to explore the RNC convention's notables.
Great post. When I was a kid, if people wanted contraception they bought some rubbers at the store for a couple of bucks. But now the taxpayer has to provide them? That is sheer stupidity. Its perfect that the Slut introduced the Putz. They deserve each other.

It was called Personal Responsibility. Something that went out the window long ago. Now it's always someone elses responsibility, or someone/thing elses fault when bad decisions are made or actions committed. Nothing is anyones fault anymore. No wonder we have so many underachievers nowadays.
And whats even worse..the lameazz democraps say that begging for contraception from the government is somehow empowering to women..And Rush telling Fluke to stand on her own 2 feet and use her intelligence and hrd work to get them..is somehow anti-woman...WTF?
It's amazing (and unfortunate) in my opinion, how ideas and attitudes are so swiftly changing in the U.S.. Watching Ms. Fluke, a woman that gained national recognition by essentially saying she could not afford $9 per month for contraception, and felt it her right to have it provided to her via means of taxpayers, to use her silly platform to somehow spin the whole absurd fiasco into "Romney doesn't care about women's rights," is simply unbelievable. More disturbing is the fact that nonsensical BS like this is fostered and encouraged by over half the nation. Have we as a nation lost all sense of personal responsibility? Do we not realize that when finally the last person standing caves into the notion that they too should shed personal responsibility and join the others with their hand extended... that the nation is finished? It will not happen today, or tomorrow, or even next week... but it will happen. *sigh* I dread the future, of the American children of today.
Nonsense. You can thank limbo for Fluke's notoriety. Decent people usually don't sit still when a drug-addled, misogynist bigot gratuitously calls a person a slut on his radio show. And you can thank right-wing extremists for turning the country into a polarized (*)(*)(*)(*)hole and the concept of compromise into the greatest political sin.
I think in his rant he also referred to "the rest of us" as pimps. Why is everyone defending the one, and not the whole? He called you a pimp...not a peep from you. Decent people dont over react to someone elses opinion, unless it has a spark of truth that hurts. Shouldn't "everyone" be outraged? LOL...nah. Just a rant from a personality.
Meant to give you a "like" on this one ELO...havent had enough coffee yet, and tired eyes..clicked the dislike in error.Good post, and my apologies.
Unless it's Bill Maher. http://nation.foxnews.com/pig-maher/2012/05/08/pig-maher-attacks-bristol-palin-again Rush was totally right about what he said. He said that expecting taxpayers to pay $3000 in contraception to a "lady" who's attending law school at $20,000 a semester but claims she "can't afford it" (and is voluntarily choosing to attend a Catholic college, then claiming "persecution" when contraception isn't provided) - is like a prostitute, because essentially we (the taxpayers) are paying for her to have sex, and when you're having so much sex that you're spending as much in contraception a year as it'd cost to rent half of an apartment - then yes you're definitely a "slut" - if a guy was having that much sex we'd call him a "womanizer" or whatever the male equivalent of "slut" is, so why's it any different with a woman? I'm glad that most of the advertisers who dropped Rush ended up crawling right back to him in a month or two. The only reason Media Matters and the rest pretended to be "offended" is that they were itching for a change to take Rush off the air under a veil of defending "decency", while not a peep comes out of their mouths every time Bill Maher makes a "misogynistic" comment. Even Bill Maher had the balls to come out and condemn the boy-cotters as being stupid (so did Ed Schultz) - I respect them both for that because he could've jumped right in the phony moral-outrage bandwagon along with the rest of them.
I respectfully disagree with your assessment of what I had written, Joe. ~ Although, I do share your disdain for the political climate. A couple points of clarification on my previous post. #1 ~ I am not, and never have been a fan of Limbaugh. I personally find him to be nothing more than a self serving bloviating horses ass. And yes, I do agree with you that he twisted what I believe to be Ms. Fluke's words completely out of context. Personally, I am not concerned with whom she has sex, or the number of times she has sex. What does concern me is that she and those that support her ideology, wants my tax dollar to subsidize the effort by providing free contraception. That is not my responsibility, nor should it be the responsibility of anyone other than herself/themselves. But this is only a small concern in the grand scheme of the ever growing entitlement mindset in the U.S.. That is what I find most unsettling, and meant to convey in my previous post. You alluded to "decent people," I respect that. But where is the decency? Where is self respect? Where is personal responsibility for ones words, actions or aspirations? The U.S. is spiraling downward, society in general is going to hell. And unless we all wake up and realize that our brother is not really our keeper, that we must start taking responsibility for ourselves, then we are all destined for complete failure. Perhaps it's ignorance or misunderstanding on my behalf, perhaps only frustration. *sigh* Anyway, my best to you and yours.
