What's wrong with the world today, that you bemoan, is exactly that philosophy, which is based on an essentially selfish way of thinking, usually exacerbated by intolerance and outright hate by those who preach it.
And the sentiment doesn't in any way imply that my brother is not also responsible for him/herself. That's a strawman that selfish people throw out to justify their selfishness and intolerance.
I see the world today working through the struggle between tribe and community- those who care only about their own tribe versus those who see that modern society is an interrelated community that requires a new way of thinking about the rich diversity of life.

What illness do condoms treat? There are OTHER treatments for those conditions as well, they can get the same hormones in something that is FOR those conditions, it doesn't have to be BC pills.
