    Well, of course there are lots of fossils, but that's simply because of how many organisms have actually lived on this planet. Many sea fossils on land? Hmm, could that because oceans actually change and this planet's land masses change as well? It's called tectonic plates.

    Um, not really. What you are suggesting is that all of these fossils would just end up in the same strata with a few exceptions. Sorry, but that isn't what we see in the fossil record.

    Oh don't worry, creationists have an answer for that. You see, running water separates dirts, rocks, etc into different stratas in a very short time, even though it is never observed after modern flooding.

    Evolution is not based upon fact. Only if your fact is a theory or a hypothesis, or a 'scientific fact'.

    Evolution is a theory. A belief. And science is always trying to proof this belief or theory. Faith of science.

    Umm, yes really. The flood of Noah could produce the vast amount of fossils. But, there is another flood that was before the flood of Noah which would play a role also.

    I don't think Quantrill refuses to "believe anything science has to offer". It's a highly selective kind of suppression. With literalists, it is always limited to the conflicts their scripture has with science, history, geography or other areas of investigation.

    And I don't think he is jerking any chains. Unfortunately.

    Fact is not theory, Quantrill.

    Fact is observation and theory is explanation. It is two different things.

    Since evolution is both observed and explained for all practical purposes, it is both fact and theory.

    Yes, when observation is considered a fact, then it is theory. Observation is going to be goverened by ones presuppositions. Scientists who believe in evolution are going to see evolution. Thus their observation is at best a theory. At worst, it is a lie. Which exists among evolutionsists also.

    Scientists believe in evolution. They then seek the proofs of it.

    Fact is not "just" observation Freeware. It is observation that has been backed up by experimentation and has been confirmed repeatedly.

    I will be more than happy to read anything that you have on or outside of the internet that will explain the theory of evolution (common descent) has been observed and/or confirmed repeatedly...

    How many times to you have to tell people this?!?! Where is the person who thinks that Australia was under water... That still cracks me up!! The funny thing is, if I remember correctly, that that person was not even religious or a believer in God, but then interprets The Book all ass backwards...
