I've been following China's fortunes for the past four decades. Obviously, you haven't been paying too much attention. I will give you the very short version of what's going on...

The merchantilist [exporting] global economy that China has taken advantage of is almost gone [for all kinds of reasons]. China needs to import 80% of its food and energy. They have incredibly serious water issues. Pollution is making much of the country toxic not to mention a demographic implosion that estimates are predicting the Chinese to lose half their population by 2050-2070. Then throw in a political sh*tshow that promises to destroy just about everything else [the COVID lock-down fiasco being a perfect example].

If I were you, I'd study-up on what's going on in China these days.

Anyway, Mandarin is the choice if anyone is trying to learn one of their languages. My gf speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese and English, I'm learning the first one from her as she's fluent in all 3.
At my current rate it'll be 10 years before I can have a conversation other than "ok, ok".

So your argument is that because an American by the name of Tesla came up with this idea of wireless connectivity, and another American invented the internet which didnt use this idea of wireless connectivity, that the internet isn't an American invention because it didn't use wireless connectivity. Yep! They stole from Africa the biggest invention - slavery. They modify it for the worse! While African slavery was democratic one, everyone could became a slave without regard to the color of the skin, religion or political views, Americans restricted slavery to Black people only.

African countries like Nigeria was so dependent on the slave trade that after the west abolished and outlawed it, many countries like it went broke over night. These rich and powerful African countries enslaved more people than the white man ever did. White man mostly bought them. And slavery spread through much of Africa with the expansion of the Islamic religion. Muslims couldn't make other Muslims their slaves. So it was convert or be enslaved. Like this, Islam spread across northern Africa.

The white man didn't do nothing but buy them. And of the few white people that went and captured slaves themselves, it was mainly the Portuguese
