Many news organizations attempted to verify or debunk claims in the dossier, including that Cohen was in Prague around that time. A BuzzFeed News reporter spent three days visiting about 45 hotels in the city and found no evidence Cohen had stayed in any of them during that period.

If you are trying to flip logic on its head by trying to say this link isn't verifying anything, try again. Witnesses to the trip Mueller has. Cohen has nothing. And why would there be an explanation about the trip? Unless those sources were in the room, they cannot give an explanation. The point that Cohen lied about going to Prague has meat to back up the claims. The fact that there was no explanation doesn't change anything. Boss, you are making this too easy. Give it up. Even if you can show him in Germany in 2016, which I haven't seen evidence that he was, I'm not going to make two additional leaps, one that he sneaked into Prague (where did he stay? Does McClatchey have Hotel receipts?), and two that he sneaked into Prague for the purpose of meeting with Russians, three that the meeting was to corrupt the campaign, five that Trump knew about it, and six that the meeting bore any fruit.

I suppose that since Hillary lost the election, Cohen MUST have a second passport, right? It all sounds pretty desperate to me. Then you have the "what is the likelihood" that Cohen would tell the world, and presumably the government agents and Mueller, that he has never been to Prague, knowing that eventually a security camera, a visa, a hotel receipt, a witness who is willing to come out of the scummy shadows, would surface and easily prove him a liar and ruin his life. How likely does that seem to you?

The Trump Justice Department Special Counsel referred specific leads regarding Trump's fixer to the office of Trump's U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, whose assistant, another Trump appointee, obtained a warrant for the FBI raid.

Trump's fixer cannot be pardoned by Trump for charges brought by the New York State Attorney General. In that respect the jurisdictional maneuvre is quite effective, disabusing Trump's fixer of any false impression that Trump can spring him in regard to NY criminal charges if he refuses to come clean about Trump.

If the FBI seizure of evidence includes anything the pertains to the Trump Justice Department Special Counsel's investigation, of course it will be shared.

So Cohen may have fallen into the trap of not keeping every single comment in line over multiple interviews. Its a scam used by law enforcement to entrap people.

 

Um, that was in July...............the claim is he was in Prague in late August, early September.
