Here is a map of average speed around the world, lemme know if you find a place where there are one gigabyte bandwidth :)

    mbps= megaBITs per second

By default, Speedtest.net measures your connection speed in Mbps, meaningMegabits Per Second.

In simple terms, 1 MegaByte = 8 Megabits

Maybe one of our techies can clear this up. I'm no expert.

With everything perfect and only up to the port of your modem / router. If the data one is uploading is fragmented across a disk drive or memory chips within one's device or devices used it's going to diminish speed. Further, even this perfect world speed is limited by the number of users and data load on the providers system, also limiting is every single device, physical as well as virtual connection the data passes along its way.

    Lots of variables.

I pay for a 125mb connection from Comcast Cable, my speed tests for download only come close, upload are never close. Yesterday as I shared it was 10.57 mbps.

And one connection at 10 mbps or one cable at 100 mbps between your computer and the computer on the other end drops your speed to 10 mbps or 100mbps, respectively.

A Ferrarri can go 210 mph, but not on a motorcross track.

The path from one to computer connected to the internet to another computer connected to the internet has a maximum speed of the slowest portion of that path, in addition to dealing with long distances and resulting delays in transmission caused by that.

It is physically impossible for someone in Romania or Russia to download at 26 megaBYTES against a target in the US.

Someone saying it didn't happen isn't required for a consensus to not exist. Every agency hasn't agreed. No doubt, you will keep saying it though.

I will take US intelligence services over the words of those who don't. Those who don't I no longer consider compatriots.

    It was agreed that
a few DNC opperatatives were hacked. Nothing more.
Did the Russians provide Wikileaks with their information or not? You really haven't said...only implied and assumed.

There's some real question now whether the DNC/Clinton narrative of this all ignores sources within the DNC that were disgusted with the way Bernie Sanders was cheated and blackballed by Hillary and Debbie...and that person, or persons, may be the source of leaks
that embarrassed the DNC and not Russians colluding with Trump (which is a great way to avoid responsibility for your loss
and destabilize Trump all in one fell swoop).

I'll say it for you since you aren't going to be forthright about this.

LOL...you mean patriots? Or compatriots? Or do you know there is a difference between the two words?

If you will take the word of verified liars like James Clapper, who actively have subverted the constitution and our civil liberties,
over those of us who find the US Intelligence nexus to frequently be a politicized and untrustworthy rogue element burrowed within the Deep State, then I guess that's how things have to be.

But if you cast your lot with liars and untrustworthy characters, as our intelligence community so frequently show themselves to be,
don't be angry when their stink sticks to you.

That depends on the degree that their opinions change or evolve as more facts come forward concerning the real source of most of those
    hacked communications.

WOW this beyond confused, for all general purposes JUST USE MEGABYTES per second.. The best you can get from Verizon is 500 MBps, and you will not EVER get those transfer rates! Every provider uses the same internet infrastructure and that's where the bottlenecks happen! Verizon performance depends on its weakest link in the group of routers you will be sent down depending on location/destination! It's like Verizon head in is a 10 lane highway and all that traffic including yours is addressed and sent out of their gateway but along the way you have a five lane, maybe a three lane and so on, with OTHER intersections handling packets from around the globe all converging on those same gateway/routers and being routed too! It's not uncommon today to see as many as 20X hops before it/packet ever gets to your final destination, don't be fooled anything over 100 MB circuit residential is a waste of money, because you never see it happen :)

Here is a trace route to Political forums I left out several hops for privacy reason but the four more routers in the trip! The ping times suck once they hit the seaboard but really not that bad for sending text but for a gamer that's trash! If you wanted to see the transfer rate to their servers you could use speedtest.com and use the final address to get an idea what your provider is actually capable of.

Collectivist are programmed to say/do/justify any action that benefits them politically. The last thing a drone will do is hold another drone accountable for their actions.

So should trump fire those drones?

Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va.: Intelligence community assessment accurately characterized the extent of Russian activities in the 2016 election and its conclusion that Russian intelligence agencies were responsible for the hacking and leaking of information and using misinformation to influence our elections? Simple yes or no would suffice.

Robert Cardillo, director of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency: I do. Yes, sir.

Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency: Yes, Senator.

Adm. Michael Rogers, director of the National Security Agency: Yes I do.

    Coats: Yes I do.

    CIA Director Mike Pompeo: Yes.

    Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe:Yes.

So what did Russia leak if it wasnt the podesta/DNC emails?

Did the fbi check out the dnc servers?

And yes, fire them all. They are all on the take.

Based only on the information that a DNC employee, Crowdstrike, gave them.

They have never seen any evidence that the DNC doesn't WANT them to see, and had prevented them from looking.

I was unaware that any intelligence agencies actually inspected the server in question. Also, aren't the guys saying it had to be an inside job a member of the intelligence fraternity.
