I'll reply. We need aeroplanes in civilian use. We don't need guns in civilian use.

No. It most certainly was not. Also the correction, which the stated reason for was "Clarity" wasn't much better "Nearly 3000 people were lost".

If they had any journalistic integrity at all they would have just stated the facts :

"18 years after nearly 3,000 people were murdered by Islamic terrorists."

The aircraft were remotely controlled weapons used in 911. You can't remotely control a gun in the hands of an individual. The flight control and navigation LRUs were no doubt replaced on-board Flights 11 and 175. There were no Boeing aircraft involved with Flights 77 and 93, as there were never any recovered components with parts registration linked to either United Airlines or American Airlines. This is why both United and American officials never held press conferences to do parts identification with the NTSB and FAA, as they have for the entirety of all American Commercial Aviation History when any aircraft went down on American soil.

If you don't know what an LRU is or why it matters - you can Google it. A fly-by-wire aircraft is ripe for the transformation to remote-fly-by-wire aircraft. This is WHY Betty Ong, told you that they were having trouble breathing up near the front of the aircraft on-board Flight 11. They reason they were having trouble breathing near the front of that aircraft is because the crew had been gassed inside the cockpit as the most likely scenario. Some of that gas drifted aft through the rest of the cabin. This is what you hear Betty Ong, telling you during her call.

That is how you gain control of the aircraft. You take out the crew with gas and then fly it remotely to your target. Simple, really.

    What is this^^

He meant during 9/11 what was more significant the planes or the terrorists who steered them

The plane was the chosen weapon of attack on 9/11. What do you propose....ban planes or people, or get sensible.

I reckon NYT is being delberately ironic. We all know that an inert thing cannot kill...and that the same inert thing can be used as the weapon of choice, to massacre.

You mean that the terrorists aren't the more significant element of 9/11?

Okay... except the question was actually, what's more significant? The planes or the terrorists? Given that I know that you're not a radical leftist lunatic, I'm pretty confident that you would say the terrorists!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...eal-trump-says-taliban-talks-are-dead.561372/

Yeah. Trump invites the Taliban ("our sworn enemy" according to Trump) to Camp David the eve of 9/11 and that thread gets 6 posts. 3 of them mine. 1 reaction: first time I ever heard of this. BFD. Meh.
But this poorly worded tweet by the NYTimes generates 6 pages of howling outrage.

Yeah, I think "you guys sicken me", is the right reaction

Is Iran our sworn ALLIE? If not, then I assume that you took issue with Obama making a deal with Iran. Or do you have an insane double standard?

If you actually went to the thread I started, I clearly state that the ONE thing I am not critical of Trump on is his attempts at foreign policy, and grant him a lot of leeway on that front. I think that N Korea exchanges are now not going well, but I am very much wait and see on that front. As for the Taliban meeting, the "sworn ennemy" is a quote from Trump criticizing Obama for daring to put out some feelers for an eventual meeting with Taliban leaders. He was outraged that Obama would even think about meeting with the 'facilitaters' of 9/11. I, as stated, was not against this meeting that Trump tried to orchestrate. I am consistent.
However inviting the Taliban to Camp David the eve of September 11 is just offensive.
So, now let's see who actually has a double standard:
Ar you more or less outraged by the Trump meeting or by the NYTimes tweet?

Fair enough. Now, what's this thread of yours? You seemed to imply that I should know about it and that I ignored it.

    When did Trump say this?

Was it actually the 10th? It seems strategic rather than a coincidence and mistake, but yeah, that's pretty offensive, but more than anything it makes no strategic sense.

I would like to know more about why the date was chosen by Trump, but I think either way I am more outraged the NYT, not just their tweet but the story on their website! For the victims' families, I think that not acknowledging WHAT actually killed their loved one is about as offensive as it gets. Don't you think?

You don't see the liberal bias in that headline? Really you don't ?

The liberal writer of that headline is blaming the ME-262 and not the Nazi pilot who attacked our B17 bombers. Then that same liberal insulted our brave American airmen of WWII by saying that the B-17s flew all by themselves. Furthermore that is changing history and that is a Fake headline.

    LOL

I agree though NYT should have stated the facts.

“Saudi Arabian terrorists took aim”, would have been much more accurate.
