Pro-lifers and other conservatives have been warning for at least two or three decades that Planned Parenthood has a sinister political agenda that is almost identical to that of the Communist regime of China.

They dont want to do that. Its just paranoia the leftist liberals said and laughed.

Well, they cant laugh anymore now. The facts speak for themselves.

The same "healthcare" program imposes abortion "coverage". So they want companies to pay for abortions but not for births. They can't stop people from having children like the Commies are doing in China, so they use a more subtle tactic.

How ironic, that Planned Parenthood is the company started by Margaret Sanger, a racist and eugenics fanatic who wanted to sterilize all black people, and whose books were read and admired by Hitler. Since becoming pregnant, I have learned a hard reality. I have private insurance because I am self employed. I knew that my insurance plan did not offer maternity coverage.

I called 18 health insurance companies, including insurance firms. I was told this, When Obama enacted his health care reform, he mandated that maternity coverage not be available to any private insurance company. All 18 companies said the exact same thing. It almost seems like he is trying to discourage pregnancy. Hmmthat made me think of something else.
When I worked at Planned Parenthood, there was something that we were not allowed to talk about. If we didnt talk about it, then maybe no one else would either. It was called the Jaffe Memo. In 1969, Planned Parenthood was asked by the government to produce some ideas to help with overpopulation. They did just that. What is in the memo as a solution to overpopulation is astonishing. And, Im sorry to say, it looks like the Jaffe Memo is starting to show its face in our culture.

Look what has happened in those 90 years. Abortion has been made legal and continued to increase. Planned Parenthood is a non-profit giant in this country (and others)just last year they grossed 1 billion dollars in revenue. They are pushing for no restrictions on birth control and abortion. And guess who is right alongside them leading the charge? Our Commander in Chief, Barack Obama.

More Married Women Projected to Lack Access to Modern Contraception
March 11, 2013 - A new study by international health officials projects that more than 230 million married women globally who want to prevent unplanned pregnancies using modern contraceptives will not have access to them by 2015. Researchers say increased investment is required to address the growing need for effective contraception.

The study looked at contraceptive use in 194 countries between 1990 and 2010, using a mathematical model to estimate the number of married women, ages 15 to 49, who used modern, effective contraception. These family planning methods include hormonal medications such as the Pill. The analysis also estimated the number of women of childbearing age who would like to use hormonal contraception methods but are trying to prevent pregnancy through abstinence or withdrawal instead.

The model showed that this 'unmet need' for family planning decreased from 15 to 12 percent during the past two decades, while global use of the Pill, contraceptive injections and hormone implants increased from 55 to 63 percent. However, the authors project the growing global population will result in a greater need for modern family planning methods by 2015. They estimate that 233 million women will not have access to these contraceptive techniques.

Ann Biddlecom is head of the United Nations Fertility and Family Planning Section in New York and lead author of the study. In many countries, she notes, theres a lack of support for family planning services. It comes to, you know, having access not only to the method itself but also better access to quality counseling and options for other kinds of methods to use if one particular method is not working for you," said Biddlecom. Some women told the researchers they stopped using some modern contraception methods because they did not like the side effects.

By 2010, Biddlecom says, the greatest improvements in availability of hormonal contraception had occurred in central America and northern Africa, increasing by 9 percent. At the same time, the prevalence of modern contraceptive use remained low in parts of central and western Africa, with fewer than 1 in 5 married women using any sort of reliable birth control.

Because the global survey only included married women, Biddlecom believes the actual number of women needing modern methods of contraception will exceed 233 million by 2015. Thats an underestimate since we have not been able to do the same as of yet for another important group; women who are unmarried," she said. Biddlecom hopes international public health researchers will be able to more accurately assess the contraceptive needs of unmarried women. An article projecting the use of modern contraception among married women is published in the journal The Lancet.

Wed Sep 9, 2015 - The chairman of a congressional committee investigating Planned Parenthood says the reason he's targeting the abortion giant, and not the pro-life activists behind the videos, is quite simple - it's his job to keep tabs on how "huge amounts" of federal dollars are being spent.

In his opening statement at today's hearing on Planned Parenthood's fetal harvesting -- the first of two for the House Judiciary Committee, and the first of several expected in Congress -- committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-VA, responded to Democrats who have said Republicans should investigate undercover pro-life group Center for Medical Progress. "Some Members have questioned why our investigation is focused on the conduct of Planned Parenthood, and not on the conduct of those who obtained the undercover footage," said Goodlatte. "Part of the answer is that Planned Parenthood, unlike the undercover reporters, is granted huge amounts of federal funds, making it our business as Members of Congress -- charged with controlling the federal purse-strings -- to do what we can to ensure federal taxpayers are not contributing to the sorts of horrors reflected in the undercover videos." "The conduct exposed by the undercover videos may help inform Congress on how to enact better laws, or to see to it that current laws are better enforced, to help protect innocent life nationwide," he concluded.

Goodlatte's comments kicked off a contentious hearing, with three pro-life witnesses and an abortion lawyer being grilled by Members. Democrats frequently attempted to undermine the legitimacy of the hearing, while Republicans tried to show that Planned Parenthood violates the humanity of the unborn. In his opening statement, committee Ranking Member John Conyers accused Goodlatte and Republicans of having a "one-sided hearing...based solely on a series of deceptively-edited undercover videos." Conyers also said that "the Center for Medical Progress the entity that filmed these videos and which could answer significant and troubling questions about their accuracy and veracity -- is not here today," and said Goodlatte's staff "chose not to invite Planned Parenthood, the target of todays attacks."

A GOP Judiciary spokesperson clarified to LifeSiteNews that "neither Planned Parenthood nor CMP were invited to todays hearing" by Republicans. "The House Judiciary Committees hearing is focused on the testimony from victims and experts on this issue," said the spokesperson, "in order for Members and the American people to understand what issues the Committee is examining throughout its investigation." "The minority had the opportunity to invite a witness of their choice, but did not invite a representative from either organization." Democratic Communications Director Stephanie Baez told LifeSiteNews that "the committee preferred to have a legal expert as a witness" instead of Planned Parenthood representatives.

She also said, "Its important to note that we did reach out to CMP to discuss the hearing with David Daleiden and intended to ask him to be our witness if that conversation were to have taken place. Daleiden did not return our call. A LifeSiteNews phone call to Daleiden was not immediately returned. The four-hour hearing brought in four witnesses to testify. Three were pro-life -- James Bopp, General Counsel for the D.C.-based National Right to Life; and pro-life abortion survivors Melissa Ohden and Gianna Jessen. The lone pro-abortion witness was Priscilla Smith, Director of the Program for the Study of Reproductive Justice at Yale's law school. Smith represented late-term abortionist Leroy Carhart in front of the Supreme Court when he fought the federal partial-birth abortion ban in 2007.

September 29, 2015 | At a hearing on Planned Parenthood funding in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Tuesday, Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.) pointed out to Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards that the organization’s most recent tax report shows $127 million dollars of revenue in excess of expenses.

Mulvaney asked Richards whether taking away just the $60 million in discretionary funding appropriated by Congress of the more than $450 million in federal funding that the Congressional Budget Office estimates Planned Parenthood gets each year. “One of the proposals here, Ms. Richards, is to defund Planned Parenthood, which includes taking roughly $60 million away from what you get out of discretionary funding,” Mulvaney said to Richards at a hearing of the House Government Oversight and Reform Committee, where she was a witness. “If we took $60 million away from you, you could still perform every single service that you gave last year, can’t you?”

A Sept. 16 Congressional Budget Office report on the cost of H.R. 3134, a bill to put federal funding of Planned Parenthood on hold until investigations into the alleged trafficking of baby organs from aborted babies is complete, shows that the organization receives about $450 million in federal funds annually. Of that, $390 million is provided through Medicaid and less than $1 million through the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Medicare combined. That leaves about $60 million in family planning funding through Title X, which is subject to appropriation by Congress. The following exchange then ensued between Richards and Mulvaney:

'Mammo-sham' Debunking Planned Parenthood Myth
Tuesday, October 06, 2015 - October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and pro-life group Live Action is taking to social media to debunk the myth that Planned Parenthood provides mammograms.

The video, called "Mammosham," shows Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards testifying before Congress that the organization is neither equipped nor licensed to provide mammograms. The abortion giant and its supporters, including President Barack Obama, have argued that taking away federal funding would limit women's health care services. "There are millions of women all across the country who rely on Planned Parenthood for not just contraceptive care, they rely on it for mammograms," Obama said in 2012.

The video shows Richards making the same claim in 2011. "Millions of women in this country are gonna lose their healthcare access - not to abortion services - to basic family planning, you know, mammograms." Richards has since changed her tune. "We do not have mammogram machines at our health centers. We've never stated that we did," she said before Congress. In its call to action to defund the organization, the video re-iterates that Planned Parenthood is making false claims about the services it provides. Texas Cuts Funds to Planned Parenthood
Monday, October 19, 2015 - Texas will no longer allow Medicaid funds to go to Planned Parenthood, state officials announced Monday. The decision follows the release of undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing reimbursements and money received from aborted baby tissue.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General sent letters to Texas Planned Parenthood affiliates that their enrollment in the joint state-federal Medicaid program was in the process of being terminated because they were potentially "liable, directly or by affiliation, for a series of serious Medicaid program violations." The letter addresses three claims from the videos:

-That Planned Parenthood illegally alters the method of abortions in order to procure tissue for donation.

-That it does not follow proper safety precautions.

-And that it failed to properly train its staff in "infection control and barrier precautions." "The State has determined that you and your Planned Parenthood affiliates are no longer capable of performing medical services in a professionally competent, safe, legal, and ethical manner," the letter stated.

Planned Parenthood supporters argue that shutting down their clinics would cause many women to go without needed healthcare. The letter addressed these concerned. "Your termination and that of all your affiliates will not affect access to care in this state because there are thousands of alternate providers in Texas, including federally qualified health centers, Medicaid-certified rural health clinics, and other health care providers across the state that participate in the Texas Women's Health Program and Medicaid," the letter said.

Since summer, the Center for Medical Progress has posted several videos aimed at proving that the abortion group illegally sells fetal tissue. Planned Parenthood maintains they've done nothing illegal, saying the videos were misleading. Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards recently announced that though they will continue to donate tissue for medical research, they will no longer accept compensation or reimbursement. "It's pretty much an admission of guilt," CMP Director David Daleidan said.

I don't think they have a sinister agenda. Other than planned parenthood has decided they can profit from selling body parts of fetuses aborted beyond 5 weeks. Why , because at that gestation the fetus has a heart that beats, a brasin, worth money. Elective abortions were the fetus is heathy and has a heart beat should be contrary to the mission of "planned parenthood". In the 70's they counseled women and provided " birth control". Now they perform abortions as a form of birth control. If they were doing their intended job, the number of elective abortions should be decreasing. The fact the perform elective abortions beyond 2 months gestation proves they are not successfull in stopping unwanted pregnancies.
