    Glass-Stegall repeal vote:

    Senate vote 90-8
House vote 362-57 [15 not voting]

That the kind of "FACT" you mean?

Both sides can share the blame, equally over many decades, for our present situation.

Important figure. Looks like the GOP owns this economy as much as Obama does now.

I expect the spin from the GOP to be enough to make a washing machine walk across the room, if unemployment stays up.

    Last GOP deficit $161 billion
This years DNC deficit $1,729 TRILLION DEFICIT $1,568 TRILLION HIGHER, WHILE THE REVENUE IS ONLY $395 BILLION LOWER.

Is that "SPIN?" The FACT that Democrats took in $395 billion less and blew $1,568 TRILLION more out the door?

I've only said it HUNDREDS of times. Republicans BAD, Bush BAD. Democrats worse, odrama worse, much, much worse!

You all weren't fooled by the Republicans rhetoric, were you? They are ALL of the same cloth. How the heck do you think we've gotten where we are today? Both parties are complicit in our demise, and it's now obvious that the Republicans are no better than the Democrats, but for degrees.

    No taxes? Yeah right.
Spending cuts? How big a lie will everyone swallow?
Debt limit ceiling? No such concept.
Balanced budget? What a fool believes...

Are you all getting the clear picture now? Just what did this DEAL do? It licked the can down the road where again, nothing else will happen, again.

Btw, I left out "not" - as in u r NOT so blinded by party, that u can admit the GOP had as much to do with the collapse as the Dems.

Yeah if you leave out the cost of Bush's war and the bank bailout in his last miserable month, you can get deceptive figures like that.

I've only said it HUNDREDS OF TIMES; GOP BAD; Tea Party worse.

Sorry Mr. Misinformation. The deficit includes the cost of the war and TARP. If you want to talk budget, say so. I was talking about the actual, all in deficit. Not a deceptive figure. That's loony liberal wishful thinking. And I'm sure you don't really want to talk about budgets as I'll be sure to mention the Democrats LACK of a REQUIRED BY LAW budget, while facing a serious economic downturn. The exact pluperfect time to ignore a budget.

And this may shock you. Republicans and Democrats are political parties. Independents can even be sort of a political party. The tea party is not. but since liberals are clueless as to what, who, and why, the tea party is, you wouldn't know that.

And the tea party [refers to the Boston Tea Party, not a political party] was not around for The wars or the TARP. Unbeknownst to you, those are part of the reasons FOR the tea party coming into being. And continued stupidity by the government is why the tea party has flourished.

Well you should really try decaf, and maybe some Ginko Biloba while you are at it. There is a stark difference between me and liberals, I have a rational basis for my political beleifs. Your calling people names just outs you as someone who really has no point to make, just blathering on and frothing at the mouth.

Again your over the top frothing at the mouth rant serves only to out you as someone with nothing of substance to offer.

But you are not a "Party Hack Whackjob" right?

    Pathetic!

Look up projecting in a psychology textbook. You might learn something about yourself.

Very nice. You wrote five things and never addressed an issue at all - let alone with "reasoning". Whereas, I cited specifics and then when you started the little name calling bullsh1t. So let's see. Four posts no issues. You're good baby :-D

I'm sorry. How many Dems voted to repeal it in the Senate?

But again, I don't hold the Repubs OR the Dems faultless. Which is the difference between us.

Really? Like I never said that Republicans are just barely better than Dems? You have that "convenient memory" thing like my kids had.

The reason I'm so down on Democrats NOW is that they are so BAD now. Republicans are no angels and never have been. but the Democrats are SO bad and SO insane now that Republicans fade out of the picture. They're pushed out by the incredible stupidity of the Democrats NOW. The pendulum swings both ways, all the time. It has swung into unbelievable Democrat insanity right now.

Another intentional lie by you, the consistent purveyor of lies. There is no "left out" costs at the end of the year. Not on budget is still in the total outlay. You know that and are lying about it to misdirect. Or you don't know that and are simply unaware of how the process works.

You quote me and then say we're different because I only fault one party while you fault them both.

That is your claim and you "prove" your claim by quoting this post by me:

You're right. I was wrong. Had you confused with another poster. With all the whackjobs here, that happens from time to time.
Dan I recall having discussed issues with you before and you have actually addressed points, facts questions etc... We have disagreed but I respect your views (even when they're wrong! ;-) ) My apologies.

Well that is about as intelligent as anything you've posted. Whereas and again, I discussed issues and specifics. Something obviously beyond you. Unless of course you would care to go back through this thread and see which one of us discussed spending, policy etc... and which one of us (you, namely) is a weak little b1tch who has had nothing to say on anything in all your posts.

    But love your sound effects!

Actually I think he doesn't comprehend how stupid of a money manager the government is.

They are the absolute worst manager of money there is. Why would he dare want to give them more money?

Middle class in the USA is less than $250,000. If you make more than that each year you will get the tax bug. If not, you are not affected.

But not to worry, there are other loopholes available for those who make over $250,000 per year. There are good ways to make that money make money. If you dont know the loopholes and the ways to avoid tax, than you are not in that group who makes over $250,000.00 per year.

LOL! I've seen that one before. I'm actually VERY left on some things:

    * I'd Legalize pot
    * I don't care what gays do and I think that after enough divorces, they'll just ask to have the right to marry repealed anyway :omg:
    * I'm 100% okay with abortion in the case of rape, incest etc...
    * I'd take away the tax exemption for churches.
    * I'd take all the tax breaks and subsidies from the big corps and give all new ones to companies that hired only Americans and paid taxes only in America.
    * I'm former NIS so the last thing I would do is get rid of our intel agencies.
    * I'd endorse a public option. I've personally lived in a few countries that had it and they were fine - same as when i was in the military.
    * I own a gun but wouldn't let people carry them into bars.

Hmmm. That's all my Liberal Tendencies I can think of. But they DO get me blasted by the more severe whackjobs on The Right. Just as all my Conservative Opinions get me the same from the Left (Heaven forbide I not be SURE about Global Warming!)

This all started with C.R.A. Community Reinvestment Act of 1977. This forced banks to make loans to unqualified buyers. Failure to make these loans resulted in fines and revocation of banking licences. Banks were only too happy to oblige as they could then sell these garbage loans to FANNIE MAE and FREDDY MAC who then packaged them to sell in other markets. Thus the collapse as MILLIONS of these loans began failing, and the illicit activities of government officials in attempts to cover up the looming disaster of collapse. Bush tax cuts had nothing to do with it.

I'd be much more acceptable to the idea of Global Warming if Al Gore was such a slime and making millions off promoting GW.

And you support odrama and he is a stupid, incompetent, idiot, clown, fool.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Firm critique to follow.

Dude! You are usually a bit smarter and / or observant than this! Now, I'm not going to tell you that you support NAMBLA but it would be almost as true as what you just said about me! I'm not sure exactly how many times you've posted on threads where I clearly state that I think Obama sucks and ObamaCare sucks balls but if that is what you call "supporting Obama", you are in the same league with CrusaderFrank and the Grand Army of Whackjobs!
Yes, I have given him credit for a couple things. What does that mean? Even a blind nut can find a squirrel once in a while. Even Bush did a couple things right. So did Obama. So what. Overall, they both suck.
In regards to your use of the word "Support" I will quote The Spaniard from the movie The Princess Bride: "I do not think this word means what you think it means." :-o
