I'm sorry want to try and explain your analogy, Obama HASN'T found a cure for the economy so why would anyone be complaining he should have done it sooner. I think it is more like you would still be praising him if he hadn't discovered the cure even though he took all the research money and blew it.

Bluesguy, I've made the analogy as easy as I could; Its in very simple terms.

Saying that Obama hasn't cured the economy is akin to bringing in a patient into the ER who's been in cardiac arrest for an hour and expecting the doctor to revive the poor unfortunate soul. Even though the doctor does his best, sometimes its not good enough given the condition the patient was in when handed over to him.

 

The main problem with that is that Jobs wasn't an economist, rather a sharp businessman. For You, the late Steve Jobs, or anyone else without a lot of experience as an economist, your and their opinion is without merit.

The most recent number is $32,661. What the author has done is select instead the intervening peak value from just prior to the stock market collapse, and he then fails to note that the current number represents a substantial recovery from the low-point of $31,782 reached in late 2009. Second of all, the end of a recession marks its LOWEST POINT. It is the point at which recovery finally BEGINS, not the point at which it has been accomplished.

The only time a growing population requires a growing government is if you have more and more people living on the public dole.

Keep government small and you help people become more resourceful and enable them to have self respect by depending on themselves and not on welfare and other forms of government assistance for their well being!



Republicans and Libertarians want to “lift” the human spirit. Liberals just want to tax the wealthy and give other people a free government handout! This policy only keeps these people beaten down and despondent because they know they are parasites and leeches who have produced nothing and contribute nothing at all to the rest of society.
