    I just posted this on the other tricare thread...


    I am a military retiree. I get tricare, although living in Mexico, I rarely avail myself of it because mexican healthcare is so good and so cheap that it really isn't even worth it to me to go through the hassle of faxing a bunch of doctor's receipts to tricare overseas so that they can then turn around and reimburse me for my costs. But before I moved to Mexico, I used tricare all the time for myself and my wife and it was INCREDIBLE how inexpensive it was. I can't imagine any retiree ever thought that there wouldn't be some incremental increases in premiums as the cost of health care skyrocketed over the past decade of so, but no... tricare has stayed the same... so I am not at all upset about an increase in premiums now. It is long past due, as far as I can see.

    We have a contract, just not like the unions. Our contract says we must work for what ever the masters decide for us. The unions can work till they feel like quiting and the governments contract can't be stopped.

    You're kidding right? The Secret Service isn't going to touch this. They are going to look at this, go just some guy on the internet rambling. And they’re going to leave it at that. They’re not going to trace his ISP, they’re not going to open a file, and they’re not going to send agents to talk to him.

    I seem to remember Paco saying they had already paid him a visit before, and he has a case worker that would "laugh at that photo." He's posted it before.

    I actually happen to know a fellow who, back in 2004, made similar comments about Bush, and he WAS visited by the secret service and he was dragged off to the local police station where he was interrogated for over an hour... and forced to sign a bunch of forms allowing the secret service to monitor his financial activity for two full years after their little "talk".

    Proablly becouse he made a statement and a whole buch of other stuff and caused him to get taken noticeed by. The Secret Service pritorizes pepole and threats. for example some guy in a bar who is shoting his mouth of to pepole vs. somehone who said they are going to do it and how as well as have a history of and a history of physical violenece plus access to fire arms. Now out of those two situsations, who do you think they are going to send agents too?

    Wouldn't it help Obama's case to have available any,just one
    video of him telling other democrats or a blanket statement
    pleading NOT to demean the Office of the Presidency when Bush
    was President.Is there a single statement by this Community Organizer
    ever since his 2006 Keynote Address { At the Kerry DNC }
    where Obama made any call for temperance towards the near rabid
    comments daily attacking Bush/Cheney.
    I thought as mush.
    No need to digress.
    Obama will be his own worst enemy.

    How does Obama think that this is a good idea. Cutting off their benefits is showing them that them risking their lives wasn't enough to get some additional perks in this country. God forbid we take care of the men and women that protect us. Thank you Mr. President for not taking care of our soldiers and veterans. Do you just want to sign the country over to China while you're at it?
