No their not you just wish they were
No need to. I remember what I posted perfectly. I stated that in response to this post: "Yeah, about Obama's popularity, and how beloved he was. http://www.investors.com/politics/co...lar-president/" So, since you've claimed my "credibility just went down the toilet" please explain to the board exactly, in your view, me saying "donald's approval ratings are even worse than that now, after less than two weeks in office." is saying "You claimed he went down" as you falsely stated. My statement said nothing about whether he went up or down, as you falsely asserted. I post demonstrated only that donald's record low approval rating after less than two weeks in office was lower than Obama's average. Repeatedly making false statements about what I claimed is intellectually dishonest, and exposes a lack of credibility.
Whats the difference between they are worse now then when he was elected and claiming they are going down ? Its you who are being disingenuous
Obama completed the second term to which he was popularly elected rated at 59% Approval / 37% Disapproval, having made enormous progress since inheriting the economic collapse that the Bush bequeathed to him. (He had absconded with Approval in the low 30s and Disapproval in the high 60s.) Quite the turn-around! (Although some kvetch that it took far too long to de-Bush the nation.) Obama's successor is an exception to incoming presidents' usually being accorded decent numbers, now at 43% Approval/52% Disapproval Of course, he could still rise to Obama's level or plunge to Bush's. Time will tell.
Please show the board you're not being intellectually dishonest again by linking to and quoting my post where I claimed donald's approval rating is worse now than when he was elected.
So then exactly what does this mean Tell me that means his rating is going up or staying the dame and not going down. Didnt he come to office 2 weeks ago and isnt now today ? Since then hasn't his rating gone up ?
Reading comprehension 101. As I explained in post #37, I stated that in response to this post: "Yeah, about Obama's popularity, and how beloved he was. http://www.investors.com/politics/co...lar-president/". That was the statement in the OP. Which you saw when you found my statement and quoted it. My statement in post #21, quoting and in direct response to the OP: "donald's approval ratings are even worse than that now, after less than two weeks in office." "worse than that now" clearly refers to the OP's statement about Obama's approval rating. So my statement was: "donald's approval ratings are even worse than [Obama's average] now, after less than two weeks in office. I never "claimed he went down", as you falsely claimed. I never said donald's approval rating is "worse now than when he took office," as you falsely claimed. And as you've demonstrated your reading comprehension problems and inability to intellectually honestly characterize what I've stated or claimed, I'll ask that you quote my posts verbatim in the future to avoid this kind of waste of time. Thank you.
You still make no sense You said I dont care who or what you are responding to thats no so. It was not clear in the least Where is the reference to Obama in that ? How is it relevant ? Trumps rating have gone up over the last 2 weeks. How can you defend that statement with a straight face. looks like your doing a bit of gymnastics here to me
I'll trust our other members can readily understand my post. And as you've demonstrated your reading comprehension problems and inability to intellectually honestly characterize what I've stated or claimed, I'll ask that you quote my posts verbatim in the future to avoid this kind of waste of time. Thank you.
I do as well and its either you are trying to cover up your mistake or you are a poor communicator because I dont know how you can post that and claim you never said his poll numbers didnt go down. What does less than mean ?
I hate when people have these kinds of debates. Now I have to go back and reread everything! Thanks a lot
