Lawyers is debatable. But that's aside the point. There's a big distinction between engineers and capitalist ventures like Romney. Engineers are developing new products everyday. Romney is just waiting into the wings to use money to make more money off the backs of the engineers. As a capitalist (I'm assuming you are a capitalist), I'm surprised to see you back a corporatist like Romney.

GM is now the world's top autoseller. The point is we couldn't afford to lose a giant American manufacturer in the global auto industry with another foreign competitor taking its spot. I know you think no government interference is a good thing, but as an American I'd expect you to see the big picture in all of that.

GM will build new $1.1 billion plant in China

It's always good when a company that's been bailed out by U.S. taxpayers dollars builds a new $1.1 billion plant in China. It's creating new jobs isn't it? If taxpayers who bailed them out want a job they can just move to China.

That wasn't his job. His job was to make money for his investors, which he did well. Why, because he understands business. By making money for his investors, he created more jobs than he lost, otherwise the failing companies would go under and lose all the jobs.

You do realize there is a big GM plant and headquarters in Detroit right now that wouldn't be there if he bailout didn't go through?

The same can be said for every company that sends jobs over seas, why is it OK for GM but not the rest?

I could care less what Romney does with his own money, I'm more concerned with how Obama spends mine.

That is blatant bullsh!t. Romney invested in companies to see them grow, and Bain's share of ownership grow with them. Bain's record of doing so is quite good; enough so to be praised even by Democrats.

At least - not stupid ones.

If a company acquired by Bain was 'downsized' and its assets sold off, you can be assured that such a company was dying anyway - and Romney's actions even in these cases is clearly and properly explained in the above link.

Get educated on the important purpose of companies like Bain Capital.

You posted a crappy and biased hit piece designed to demonize Bain, and Romney. Here's the rebuttal to it.

    Source for your figures.

venture capital companies make money by taking a profitable company, asset stripping it, lowering the workforce, lowering costs, borrowing against its capital and selling on or folding it. Do some reading.

Your taxes have gone up duing the last 4 years? Actually I think you'll find that the markets have driven your lowered spending ability, not taxation.

Well what do you think would happen if GM wasn't bailed out? They'd magically just stay there and keep everybody?

    Weak.

I ask you to source your claims, and your response is to avoid the fact and then try to invalidate my position as if yours is superior.

Yet you don't have the cajones to actually defend your argument? Grow up dude, and let me know when you are ready to debate with the adults.

Bain Capital has made venture investments that have lead to tens of thousands of jobs being created. They themselves employ over 400 people.

Simply because you don't like their business tactics doesn't make them less economically contributing. You won't source your info, because you know I am right.

Romney saved GM....Ask him...LOL......He has created many jobs as pizza delivery boys and mimimum wage clerks at Staples....No health coverage and (*)(*)(*)(*)ty pay....That's the Romney way!! He is a Gordon Gekko buzzard of the first order...If he gets elected, he'll try to sell the Interstate Highway system, the Grand Coulee Dam and Yellowstone Park to private interests and build up his and his buzzard freind's offshore bank accounts. This guy doesn't give a rat's ass about working class Americans or anything else but his bottom line....Him and his cronies smell blood in the water...Go ahead, vote the ******** in, I dare you...

    Cheers

The ad is a fraud, no surprise.

Romeny wasn't at Bain when this company busted out. Also, the workers were offered buy-outs as I understand it.

Scumbag-in-Chief has lied to America again.

What is it about rightwingers that make them so totally oblivious and manageable.. Rightwing mob is lock step like a bunch of angry lemmings... Leftwing mob is a like herding hungry cats.
