Great one example out of the hundreds on owned land.....

Actually the part they are on, OWS LA, is public park property, and they are being removed because the public cannot use said public park property......

...which of course defeats the entire purpose of public park property...

How can they not use it? Have people asked the protestors to make some space and been refused?

I haven't heard of anyone having a problem with going into the parks with the protesters, well other than that one poster who had them rape his picnick basket and eat his football. Same thing happens if you goto Yellowstone and run into Yogi though.

They got 3 protesters out of a makeshift tree house with bean bag rounds. I can't help but find humor when folks knowingly do something incredibly stupid and then get what they deserve.

I don't know, however they have refused to clean up after themselves. Who wants to make use of a park littered in trash, unsanitary conditions, and used hypodermic needles even if the protesters do move. That's not the point lol.

People should be able to use a park without the fear of contacting aids. :sun:

In all serious though, I doubt OWS would let anyone near their camps even if they did ask, I base this off of NYC's group denying an ambulance entry after one of their own members had a medical emergency and dialed 911 for help!

How about a more recent incident reported by MSNBC....a EMT responded to Zucotti Park, had a patient that needed to go to the hospital ASAP, protesters barred their exit, and then one broke the EMT's leg. WTF is that (*)(*)(*)(*)?! http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/loca...Assaulted-Zuccotti-Park-Arrest-133613788.html

Lmao!!!! So there is no end date then, like I said.

    Answer my question now:

Since when can you squat on public land endlessly?

...first off, glad to see you are still in Portland, LET'S KEEP PORTLAND WEIRD!!!!!...secondly, violent or not, if you disrupt me, then you are wrong...if you are waving signs from the side of the road, have at it, but if you are siting in the middle of the road, or sidewalk, and stopping me from doing what I need to do, or going where I need to go, you are wrong...and when most people are caught doing wrong, they get punished...quit your crying, if you or your kind get caught being wrong and get punished, you have no one to blame but yourselves...

Imagine how ripe that place had to be that police needed biohazard suits to clear it out.

I hope they come back with numbers so large the cops head spin. All those thug officers should be in jail, but who can police the police, especially with the corporate-government we have that back them? This symbiotic, corrupt corporate/government/police trio that run and control this country, regardless of what rights people may or may not have, will ruin us.

The real criminals are the corporations and the (*)(*)(*)(*)heads in our government that started all of this, and the thug police who carry out their handiwork.

That logic sounds alot like "we had to pepper spray them for public safety reasons."

No, the real criminals are the folks who broke the law. By definition.

Its a little hard to pick up the trash when you are in handcuffs.

Parks ALREADY have used hypodermic needles laying around. Now you blame it on OWS?

In all serious though, I doubt OWS would let anyone near their camps even if they did ask, I base this off of NYC's group denying an ambulance entry after one of their own members had a medical emergency and dialed 911 for help!

    Nothing like propaganda BS.

The person who busted the paramedic's leg was the CRAZY GUY who the ambulance was called for, likely the usual un-medicated mentally ill who the 1% tossed in the streets in past Republican administrations to "save money"!

The criminals are the ones writing the law, and the ones that own them. Naturally, they won't include any of their actions in the "law."

There's a million things wrong with the picture. All at the feet of the abomination known as American Liberalism. Which is neither American, nor liberal.

Just pretty (*)(*)(*)(*)ing lame and stupid when you get down to it.

Own them...? Oh, the voters. No... if you really don't know what the word means, you should consult a dictionary.

you know things are getting bad then one of the most liberal mayors in the country asks for liberals to get the hell out lol.

yes Mayor Villaraigosa is a raging liberal and he even saw that the disgusting OWS crowd was a huge mistake and told them to get the hell out lol.

seriously, if we were all the 99% like the OWS claims this would be one totally disgusting country. the OWS is like a group of caged monkeys throwing their poo at eachother. cant wait till they are all ran off like the dirty rats they are.

Exactly. And the libs can't believe that their phoney baloney astro-turf OWS movement was swept up and put out like the rotting garbage that they are.

They weren't the 99%. They were not honorable. They were not worthy of either sympathy or respect.

We told you they were scum libs. Your scum. And we were right.

Now put a band-aid on the booboo, take a good look in the mirror at the one responsible to make your life better, and then get out there.

    Free stuff is over.

The mayor of LA says it will cost anywhere from $500,000 to a million to restore and clean up this park.

I'm sure there is no one in LA (or any other American city) who minds paying for that.
