Yeah, let's keep the joblessness and despair neat and clean!

    Then, everything is A-OK!

Since the majority of Americans are not interested in real change and are not willing to stop what they are doing and support the OWS then they should have nothing to complain about, Wall-Street being in the pockets of American politicians perhaps many of us have no problems with Wall Street running the country and it certainly looks that way seeing they are not being held accountable for their crimes and destroying our economy with their corruption.

We all can sit in our clean heated homes, clean clothes, with clean bathrooms and call the OWS protesters “filthy animals.” These people are here to “occupy”, to protest against corporate greed and corruption, corruption that is out of control and has taken over our government and politicians.

There are no hotels for these people to stay in for free, what did you all expect? Freedom has to be fought for, if not we will lose it, because there are many powerful people in this country and some who want nothing better than to take our freedoms away for whatever reason and if you’re not paying attention then one day you all may wake up and realize it’s too late to do anything and you have no freedom because the majority of us didn’t think it could be stripped away.

I understand why people do not take OWS seriously and the reason is because they have no leadership and yes I agree they cannot continue until there is leadership in this movement.

Behold the results of liberal nanny-state government. Pass more JOBS bills, raise taxes on corporations and "the rich" even more, and watch those lines get longer.

ypu yup, its proven that all these little beggars want is to be able to dig deeper into our pockets, the working class' pockets, so they can coast through life. all they want is for us to baby them, they are a bunch of losers and will always be that way.

There is nothing we can do without destroying the very notion of "due process" in this country. The broke no laws, what you want us to do is create a law after the fact and then punish people with it. That is completely and totally tyrannical and against the Constitution. That is like one of the big "No-No's" the founding Fathers specifically put into the Constitution itself before there even was a Bill of Rights. "Ipso Facto" punishment is like a huge sin to Freedom.

Yeah yeah keep crying. Some banks (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up, that is no reason to blame millions of your fellow Americans merely because of the size of their paycheck. I was just told by another liberal like you that I should just suck up having my working class wealth, what little there is, redistributed to other people. You care nothing for the working or middle class, only for what you can get for yourself.

Stripped away how? Please explain to me how your freedom has been stripped away. You have a very very (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up notion of the world "freedom". You have the freedom to choose your own destiny and no rich (*)(*)(*)(*)er can take that away from you. Ever.

I'm glad they don't have a leader because that leader would the American Mao or Stalin. Here's a quote from Mao during the Cultural Revolution you are just going to love. Bet you'll identify with it all the way!

This is what OWS wants. This is the rhetoric you all love and believe in. Straight up Maoism

You people act as if OWS is new. Your kind has always skulked about in the shadows. We know what you people are about and its not equality, it's domination. I assure you that the "Dictatorship of the Bourgeoisie" is far more benevolent than the "Dictatorship of the Proletariat"

Yeah right. Like those people are going to be out shoveling cement or digging ditches or building dams with spoons like they do in China. We don't need anymore bureaucrats and office drones in the Government.

What do you want to do? Just give them a check, free home, free healthcare, free college, free retirement and then free care all through the elderly life.

Yeah right. The Rich don't have enough money to pay for all of that. Which means once you suck them dry, you're coming for me.

Mayor Vivalaraza served as president of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. No Christians there.

California PC 602 Trespass. The land is for public use, but owned by the city of Los Angeles. If the owner or agent of the owner asks them to leave and they don't, they have violated PC 602 and are subject to arrest and removal. The park is posted, no over night camping by city ordinance. The park is additionally posted as being closed from 10:30 PM to 5:00 AM. Just about every city in the country has laws requiring demonstration permits to demonstrate.

The protesters gathered together and violated both laws No overnight camping and the park closure over night. There's was indeed an unlawful assembly and subject to being run off and or arrested. Hope that clears that up for you.

What are you talking about? I just don't want those liberal Dick Cabeza's in Sacramento to try raising my taxes to pay for the damage and cost the Occupoo movement causes.

That's the way most conservatives are. They are authoritarians who lean towards fascism. They don't think that's what they are but make no mistake about it you only need to look at these boards and other conservative boards for this to become crystal clear.

Your pennies are that precious to you? Pony up, or beat it. America is better off without attitudes such as you excrete.

Our Fascist leader? Using your logic we should all just ignore the authoritarian EPA regulations right?

Bush ? Sorry, but it was a joint effort, Repubs and Dems.

But more to the point, as you were calling other folks ignorant. You say that the wealthy pay at a lower rate than you. Then help me in my ignorance.

In 2010: The top 1% earned 18% of the total income, yet paid 38% of the income tax. The top 5% earned just under 35% of the income, yet paid just under 59% of the income tax. Top 10%, 46% and 70%, respectively.

Maybe you want them all to pay more. But tell me how you pay at a higher rate. Thanks.

    OBTW, "its the spending stupid".

...this is an interesting subject, with all the talk about ALL OF OUR CHILDREN GETTING COLLEGE DEGREES (even the illegals), just who is going to do the leg work?...if everyone has a college degree, who's going to pump gas?...work at McDonalds?...do land scaping?...do construction?...union labor?...with everyone getting a college degree, WHO WILL WORK?!?!?...I'm curious because with the idea that one needs a college degree to be succescful, where will that leave us with the quote "menial, unskilled, uneducated" service positions that are neccesary to keep AMERICA going?...I mean the production/manufacturing positions can go to China, but the positions "servicing" the elitist COLLEGE GRADS, who will be doing that if everyone is a college grad?...

    1) The police raided the camp and people. The OWS apologizes that it didn't have enough time to collect its tents and other outdoor gear while they were being handcuffed and beaten.

    2) A body condom is a standard safety precaution. It's not really that much protection against "bio-hazards" with out the ventilator system, is it?

Just curious, But when pretty much ALL of the land in the city is owned by someone, Is there any way that anyone can protest without trespass?

The only way I could see that is if the owner grants rights to OWS to use their land.

If no one grants rights, Then is that not effectively curtailing their right to protest?

    Thank you for your time.

Even if you are correct in the assumption that America is sick of OWS, That does not give America the right to just 'get rid of it'.

Certainly, Arrest the people committing crimes and judge them accordingly, But the others should be left alone and allowed to protest to their hearts content, In my opinion. Thank you for your time.

Idiocy, they were asked repeatedly to leave and they didn't. Their apology is nonsense.

And if the city refuses to grant them that permit, for ANY reason?

Does that not effectively curtail their right to protest?

    Thank you for your time.

How about you research a smidge ? Show us where permits have been denied completely ? Further, many posts have addressed the issue already.

Um, Just because something may or may not have happened in the past does not mean that it could not happen in the future.

Or do you want to wait until they oppose permits en masse before we do anything about it?

I'm talking about concepts and general possibilities, That do not generally require years of study. Do you really think it WILL not happen. Are you certain?
